Dr. Restifo graduated with highest honors from Harvard Medical School. He completed a General Surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital and trained as a resident in Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Restifo is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He holds the honor of being chosen by his peers as one of the «Best Doctors in America» consecutively every year since 1994. He has also been named multiple times as among «America’s Best Surgeons» by the Consumer Research Council of America as well as one of the «Top Doctors: New York Metro Area» as determined by the prestigious Castle Connolly group. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners; Fellow of the American College of Surgeons; Member of the American Society Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the New England Society of Plastic Surgeons, Connecticut State Medical Society, and the Connecticut Society of Plastic Surgery.
