Piccolo Books is more then a book store. We donated nearly two million Children’s Books to impoverished neighborhoods worldwide over the last few year. Our Gift of Knowledge Program helps children, schools and libraries with Free Books and Fund-​Raising Opportunities in an effort to help further the education of our children.

Piccolo personally deliver free books to the community and we produce art and entertainment events with educational workshops on How to Write a Resume’ & Land the Job, How to Break into the Entertainment Industry, How to Sew and Make Jewelry. We are trying to help teach the community self-​sustainability with a confidence building learning experience. Our program seeks to help disadvantaged youth build self esteem, take control of their environment and become productive citizens in their community.

History

Established in 1990.

Educational Support: We work with schools, teachers and community leaders to help contribute positively to youth development. We Provide Free books, Book Drives and Educational Workshops to help Raise-​Funds, Educate the Community and help develop Productive Citizens.

Artistic Programs: We provide young people with recreational activities, entertainment, social opportunities and educational programs. We assist them to identify their needs, goals and aspirations. Teamed with Inner Child Press; we hold a Poetry Writing Competition which includes Royalties for Life.

Youth Training: We offer Workshops on Etiquette, Resume’ Writing, How to Interview & Get the Job; Poetry Writing, How to Break Into the Entertainment Industry and a Sister Circle Open Forum Discussion on How to Live a Happy Life.

Disability Services: We offer respect, dignity & support services for people with a disability & also provide care recipients with access to social activities

Piccolo constantly donates Children’s books to ensure Education is Free and Available to those with a desire for higher learning and recently donated over 200,000 Children’s Books to Builds Libraries, Help Schools and Orphanages in Jamaica, Ghana and Ethiopia. Following in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela it is our desire to open Children’s Libraries in impoverished neighborhoods worldwide to help create a better tomorrow for the children today. It order to do this we need your help. We would be grateful for your support to Build a Library in an Impoverished community. The entire journey will be documented for International Cable television, supported by the local government and covered by International Media. We welcome you to join us for the Grand Opening of the Children’s Library when Piccolo gives away an additional 20,000 Children’s Books, Feeds the Community and Celebrates with a live concert.
