Orangeland Rv Park

We really enjoyed staying at this RV park nice green grassy spaces and the staff are very sweet and kind and helpful. The pool and spa were clean as one of the bathrooms and showers. The only issue I had was the street lamp above our spot was extremely bright, It would be nice if they had a filter on it or someway to block it from shining right on the spot. The location and access to Disneyland is really easy and close to get to. They provide you a bag when you arrive full of goodies and they also provide fruit pickers for fruit that is in season. We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for two months this spring. The bathrooms are very clean and it is landscaped with lots of fruit trees and flowers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well.

We stayed in the park last week for one night. We were in transit from the Bay Area to San Diego and stayed over the night to be able to go to Knott’s Berry Farm. We arrived a few minuted before the office closed but the staff was INCREDIBLY NICE AND HELPFUL. They had a gentleman guide us to our site and helped us get in perfectly. The park is quite tight and I am a newbie RV’er so I could not be happier with how much time and care the gentleman gave me to help me get settled in my spot.
The park is beautifully manicured and the all the orange trees are amazing. We had fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning. :-)
We look forward to coming back this summer to stay here during a swim meet we have in the area.

One of the best RV Resort values anywhere. Amenities include workout room, pool, hot tub, pool table, putting greens, WiFi that actually works well. It is the only RV park I know that has a free high pressure tire inflation station. Cleaning and manicuring the landscaping is continuous and perfect. Did I mention free citrus right off the many orange, lemon, and tangerine trees? The office includes a small store with a well thought out inventory of things RVers may need or want. They have an outdoor mail drop and bagged ice. My wife wishes it was closer to Disneyland but the one RV Park that is closer costs more isn’t nearly as nice.

We RV here when we go to Disneyland. Unfortunately, when we went in December, there was a new policy that they close the restrooms during the evening until 7 am. Very inconvenient!

The washrooms close at 10:30 pm! There are no showers or washrooms from 10:30 — 7:00 am. We thankfully found this out before we booked and have since booked in another park that gives their guests washroom keys upon check in for after hours. Also your RV also has to be less than 10 years old. So only the well-​to-​do get to use this park. Our unit is newer but the rest rooms being closed won’t work for us.

Camped at Orangeland this last weekend, one of the best sites I have stayed at. The staff is great, the campground is clean, play area for kids is also great highly recommend.

We stayed here in our new RV the weekend of Thanksgiving 2015. The grounds appeared to be nice and well-​maintained. The check-​in process was smoothe although someone overstayed there check-​out time so we had to wait almost two hours past our parking time. Seems like there is soft enforcement of check-​out times. Another RV checked in after us and got parked almost immediately. Some sites take pride of ownership but there are clearly long term/​permanent residents that are allowed to have a low level of pride. Some residents have trashy sites with all kinds of stuff stored outside of, all around and underneath their RV (christmas decorations, clothes, carseat, etc.). There seems to be no policy on ensuring curbside appeal. Ive found the permanent residents to not be very friendly to transient RV’ers.
I was told I cannot walk my small dog on any grass. I can only walk my dog to the two small dog runs. These runs have gravel in them that doesnt seem to have ever been rinsed, sanitized or deodorized. The smell is attrocious! So i walked my dog outside the property on Struck Ave. but as you exit out the Orangeland RV park entrance there are signs that say no dogs beyond this point. WHAT? i cant walk my dog down the street? By what City Ordinance? I did anyway so that she wouldnt end up smelling like dog urine. The policy they gave us at check-​in says no dogs left unattended inside or outside the RV. What am I supposed to do with my dog when we use the swimming pool? And yet a permanent resident had her aggressive barking dog tied to a chain outside her RV lunging at other residents passing by.
Im mixed about this place. Location is great but will inly stay here again if Canyon RV Resort is booked full.

Orangeland I am so disappointed! My family has been coming here since The 80’s. 3 generations have enjoyed the friendly staff and cleanliness. Unfortunately 10−10÷2015 Orangeland has closed its restrooms from 10:30 pm until 7:00 am each night.
A trailer park where you can’t use the restroom? !!! We were out late picking up some friends who flew down to join us and had to use a restroom at Carl’s Jr because the restroom was closed.
Since we stay there when we go to Disneyland the limited restroom hours caused us to be later arriving at the park and missing our Magic Morning opportunity.
Shame on you Orangeland.
After 30 + years we may never return.

Pros — Convenient location for Disneyland and centrally located for most of Orange County. Shuttle service to DL. Kid and dog friendly if they are well behaved. Lovely pool and Jacuzzi. Great little store onsite. Friendly staff — super helpful although they can be swamped at times. Try the morning coffee, better than ours and we’re pretty fussy. Cons — Very inconsistent on the park rules so you have packrat, messy trailers (sadly, adding to the whole trailer trash stereotype) right next to beautiful rigs showing pride of ownership. Pet area clean but odors (could really use some Natures Miracle spray). Very slow and intermittent internet. Overall — Would recommend mostly for the location and that it’s typically quiet. Prices about what you’d expect for Orange County. /​Will update when we return for Christmas.

We stayed at Orangeland RV park for a week so that my husband was closer to work. Overall it’s nice. There are a lot of monthly renters here but that was not an issue. The place is pet friendly, however dogs are not allowed to urinate on the grass which is understandable but the two very small dog runs smelled so bad my dogs didn’t even want to go in them. I feel bad for the people that have sites next to the dog runs. There was also dog pee all around the fence on the asphalt. It would be nice if the groundskeepers sprayed some bleach over there so that when you bring your dogs back to the RV you aren’t worried about what they just stepped in.

10 Stars! We’ve been coming here for years and love it. Close to everything! Always excellent service and sooooo helpful. This is the place to be. Clean bathrooms! Clean park. We love it!

Stopped by to inquire about long term RV spaces, to say I was disappointed in their customer service skills are an understatement. Trying to get a straight answer was like pulling teeth, I finally given the information I was looking for after about 15 mins. Upon leaving one of the ladies looked at me and said «just remember that’s $ 900.00 a MONTH». WTH! And no I didn’t look like a bag lady! I had set out to find a permeant spot to place our 40 ft 5^th wheel and this is definitely not it, whom ever owns this place need to give these 2 ladies a refresher course in customer service skills.

We were given a gift bag when we arrived and doggie treats for our dog. However, our site is too small for bigger rigs. We had to back in our 41 ft 5^th wheel into a 45 ft site. Very little space after the slideouts were out. They also failed to mention when we called to book a site and when we checked in that they don’t have cable TV. Some problem with Time Warner. When my husband went to the office they said oops and sorry about that. For a three night stay it is doable but not for a longer stay. And we paid almost $ 70 per night! The price is not indicative of the quality and value.
There are a lot of permanent folks living here. Some sites are really cluttered and dirty. This used to be a park geared for families visiting Disneyland. Seems like things have changed here!

Nice RV Park. It is real close Disney, which was why we were there at Orangeland. The employees were friendly and attentive. They gave orange picking sticks to the kids, so that was real fun. fyi, the oranges that grow there are delicious. It seems pretty safe, even though you are in down town LA, so I guess its all relative. Its kind of expensive, 75 buck/​night for us and the cable TV wasn’t working. But we had a great time anyway. They also have a nice little store there at the park.
I think you won’t be disappointed

We stayed here to knock out 2 birthdays at Disneyland over the weekend before Thanksgiving. Even the $ 75/​night for a premium spot was worth it but I swear I booked a pull through and we got stuck with a back in. Anyways they are pretty friendly in the office and it is easy to maneuver around the park. They have long, wide parking to check in and on of the utility guys will help you get parked and set up. They are pushing 90psi on their water so make sure you bring a regulator. The cable was out the whole time and only 2 devices are allowed for WiFi. Showers and restroom are clean but they close the woman’s at 8:30a-9:30a for cleaning (WTH??). That seemed like the most inconvenient time to do that. If you are in town to do D-​Land then this is an awesome place to stay. Not too far and it is tucked away a little. The goodie bag was really cool. We have a couple of limes and lemons still. My toddler LOVED the playground. They have a real laundry room with lots of washers and dryers. I could see how this place gets packed in the summer time. Next time we do a multi-​day visit to D-​Land we’ll stay here again,

This place is 3 miles a way from Disney land! There are ton of restaurants around it. The park is clean and the staff has been very good to us. On check in they had a guy take us to our spot and helped us get backed in ok. He was very helpful. the review before is right about the spots here being close. But if you look around at the choice for rv parks next to Disney land you will see that this is a good option. Ok there is not a lot of room but my kids can eat the fresh oranges off the trees, they have liked that. All in all we came here to go to Disney land not to hang around here all day. We have a 40′ Seneca and fit just fine in our spot.
If you need a place to stop so you can go to Disney land then this is a good option.

What a friendly staff! Made us feel welcome upon arrival, a quick check in and even gave us a gift bag with various useful items. Then the most professional Parker lead us to our spot and even pulled out a tape measure to show that the slides would clear with no problems. So far a wonderful experience. O yeah, they also had a goodie bag for our two dogs. This is a well kept park with clean and paved RV parking.

Amazing time here. It is centrally located to just about everything in southern California. The people here were friendly. The bathrooms were very clean. Our site was wonderful. Loved picking fruit with the kids. The pool was clean and warm. Loved our visit here and will be coming again!

Our stay at Orangeland came with mixed emotions. We were very happy to find a place in the area that didn’t cost over $ 1000 /​month (we stay long term for work), and the location was really nice — great access to the interstate (5).
The staff were all very friendly and courteous, but clean this place was not. Let me rephrase — the front few rows of pull through spots were very nice, but if you ended up in the cheaper back in spots, you would be surrounded by permanent, not long term, but permanent residents. They have no intentions of leaving, and their disgusting sites show it. There are all sorts of piles of trashy decorations, overgrown potted plants, and cars sitting on rims full of junk. Half of the trailers look like they are over 30 years old. I don’t know why they didn’t put the permanent people in the very back of the park instead of in the first row you see when you go past the office…
Aside from that, this is a nice park. The pool and hot tub are great, and the office has dedicated mail slots for the long term people so the mail isn’t just piled up in the office where anyone can go through it.
Another love/​hate thing about this park is the multitude of fruit trees. They are all open for picking, so if you like citrus fruits, you can have your fill and them some! The bad thing about this is that there are trees right up against the camper spots, so it’s unlikely you will get your awning out. Also, once the trees start to bloom, they draw in ridiculous amounts of flies. We were fighting flies and gnats for 2.5 of our 3.5 month stay.
You are also in an earshot from the Angel’s Stadium and Disneyland. That means you hear all of the fireworks at both, which generally take place around 10:30 (or later) at night., but you can’t see them.
There are other parks in the are which are a lot nicer, but you will pay the price, and it is high! I recommend paying a bit extra at this park for the pull through spots up front so you don’t have to deal with the trashy long term people. Plus, you will have a lot more room to relax.
