I loved how the class was very interactive and only had a few students so there was more focus on us and the instructor Craig came around to see if we need help numerous times! He’s a great instructor; very funny as well! I enjoyed how informative it was and it was only about two hours; last class I took took about four hours which was definitely not needed. We covered a lot and the videos were also very helpful and definitely learned new things this time around. I’d recommend anyone to try this place out! I got a groupon deal from this location and I had a good experience!

The instructor was friendly, informative, and to the point. Each individual had clean, up-​to-​date equipment to practice on. The facility was clean, and well organized. Given the class was several hours long, it seemed to pass by quickly… And you received your card the same day!

Went to get my CPR re-​certification tonight and found the class helpful and easy to follow. Justin had a great way of keeping us alert during the course and was very entertaining. $ 45 got me re-​certified for another 2 years. Thanks Justin!

Awesome CPR/​First Aid/​AED class! No wonder all the reviews given are 5 STARS! It took me almost 30 minutes to get to this place, and it was totally worth it. The registration from their website was simple and quick! I found this class on a Monday and took it the next day. This type of class varies, though, so I would recommend checking the schedules on their website. I even got a phone call from them to confirm my attendance on the same day. Our instructor, Justin, was very knowledgable, thorough, and clear on teaching us how to perform CPR on adults and infants. He also threw in some jokes that made the class more fun and lively. Not that it matters or makes a difference with what I learned, but he is also a very handsome man :) I used a Groupon, which was $ 55, but regular price would’ve been $ 60, so saving $ 5 is better than $ 0. Other places I researched, charged about $ 85 or above. You could also buy a work book, but it is not mandatory. I didn’t buy it and learned so much, so unless you have the money to spend or would rather study on your own, you wouldn’t need it. The class was easy, fun, and very informative. We watched a movie in the class, and Justin would pause to elaborate on the information given, and ask if we had any questions. He would constantly repeat procedures so we would know what to do in a life threatening situation. The mannequins were very high-​tech because they had LED lights displayed to show you if you were doing the compressions correctly. Everybody had their own mannequins as well, so the place was fully equipped for hands-​on demonstrations. Justin would walk around to check up on how everyone was doing and made sure we did it correctly. He would throw in a scenario as well, which was very helpful. The class was actually rather quick because we were in there from 5:30pm till about 8:15pm, and we were able to learn everything we needed to know and were confident with the skills we learned. Also, it is a small class, so Justin was able to check up on everyone, answer more questions, demonstrate the techniques more thoroughly, and teach with quality instructions. I would highly, highly recommend this place for any CPR/​First Aid/​AED renewals. It was fun and educational! I will be renewing my certification here from now on.

Justin was exceptional! He taught the class with so much enthusiasm that you actually want to learn. And you can tell he cares about the topic because possibly saving a life is so important. I would definitely recommend this class!

Our organization has been using OC Safety for our First Aid and CPR certifications and re-​certifications for several years and there’s big reason for that! John has a real talent for teaching and makes the potentially daunting content digestible. Yes, the class is several hours long and there’s lots of material to cover, but it flew by! Instructors are prepared, equipment was clean and in great shape, and the class size was small.
I took my first class two years ago, but something that John said has continued to stay with me, «I want you to pay attention. I know that a lot of you are here because your work requires it, but this is important. Its important because the people that you are most likely to use this training on are the people you are closest with — your spouse, your parent, your kids.»

Friendly employees and clean environment. Easy to sign in and pay. Class was about 3 hours long. It went by fast. Learned so much today! Best CPR and First Aid class. It was only $ 60 without the book and keychain. I’ll be back in two years.

Just took my BLS class with Justin. I was honestly dreading going to class like most people do. I’m so glad i decided to take it here i really learned a lot and the class was actually fun. I have no complaints everything about this class was interesting. I will be back in 2 years.

A great place to renew BLS. When you’ve renewed a million times, you kind of dread the next one. But John made the class interesting and gives you a real life perspective of CPR. I will definitely go here next time, too.

Our instructor made the class fun and exciting. The CPR dummies have lights on them to indicate if you’re performing the compressions correctly. That was incredibly useful since I’ve never taken a CPR class before. HUGE PLUS. Ended up passing the test with flying colors and I can still remember everything that the instructor taught us. The price for the class was cheap, compared to the other companies that I checked out. Definitely coming back to renew my card.

I have been taking CPR classes for over 30 years and generally I learn what the AHA has changed and little more. I have taken CPR around 20 times over the years and so I thought I wouldn’t learn anything really new. I was wrong John had a completely different outlook and really stressed some areas that have been overlooked in my previous training. CPR isn’t ever fun but John made it enjoyable and keep it moving along. This was by far the best CPR I can remember taking. I will be taking this class again when I need to renew.

I’ll be honest, I dreaded taking another CPR class. This was my 4^th certification renewal and the previous times have been the same mundane experience. I’m glad to say that I actually really enjoyed the class here. John was our instructor and he was great. Sitting there waiting for class to start, I heard another student ask «How long is this going to take?», he said «6 hours» which immediately prompted me to turn around and stare (probably in horror, I’m not sure haha). Class was actually about 3.5−4 hours long, but trust me, time flew by insanely quick. I felt that John was very passionate about what he was teaching and made the class very informative/​fun. I definitely learned more in this CPR class than I have at other training sites.
Bottom line, I’d definitely recommend this place for CPR certification. Would love to come back and re-​certify in another 2 years.

I recently had a new baby and decided to get re-​certified and freshen up on CPR and First Aid. I attended a CPR class with my teenage daughter that my city offered and it was absolutely boring and not informative. The instructor rushed through everything. Time and money wasted!
I then decided to look around for a new class & came across this company OC Safety! John was very nice and informative over the phone, and he allowed for me to sign up my aunt (my new baby sitter) and for me to come along at no charge to help translate. Both my aunt and I were amazed at how much we learned during the class! Hands down the best CPR class I have ever taken.
Thank you John for all of the information you shared and for emphasizing on the importance for pediatric CPR. Although I had some knowledge of CPR & First Aid, I most definitely learned allot more in the few hours I spent in your class.

Last weekend I got re-​certified for CPR and First Aid. This was my forth time taking this class and hands down the best! John was our instructor and was extremely clear and passionate about what he was teaching. I was engaged throughout the whole class and left feeling confident in what I was just certified in.
Please, if you get certified, which you should, use this company!

For any teachers looking to get CPR certified, please don’t bother looking around. THIS PLACE IS IT! It’s worth driving to from anywhere in Southern California. I battled traffic on the 57 freeway to get here, and I will say it was worth it. Scott was our class instructor and definitely great. The information is not only for professionals, this is info that everyone should know.
Also, if you’re contemplating CPR vs CPR/​FIrst Aid… do the first aid AND CPR. It is worth it and I’m glad I took the recommendation from John. Highly recommend OC Safety to anyone. Worth all the 5 star reviews this place has.

Usually I would get my BLS at work but since I changed jobs recently and my card was about to expire I panicked slightly and went to Unilocal.
Once again, Unilocal did not fail me.
The website was fairly easy to navigate. I liked that the option to pay with paypal was available as well. I also liked that they had the calendar of availabilities online as well. I chose the class that was three days from the time I paid as I was in a rush to get my card and showed up for their class.
The instructor was John, clearly dynamic instructor who takes his job seriously and throws out random emergent scenarios to make you think on the fly.
Makes you work on the floor (because he likes real time and real scenarios)…as it’s highly unlikely you’ll be doing cpr in a bed unless you work in the hospital or other health care facility and even then you slip a board underneath the patient or deflate the bed… ok, the point is you need a hard surface to work with.
Makes you feel morally responsible for others (by throwing scenarios that are not work based but random in public scenarios/​or home with the family based) because for the most part people who take cpr do it for work or some sort of requirement. It’s rare that someone wants to learn it for fun, kudos for those that do!
Would recommend going to. Good class for all skill sets: beginners, intermediate, experienced/​expert

I needed CPR/​First Aid certification for a teaching program and didn’t even know where to begin my search for a course. Thank you Unilocal for helping me find this place!
I registered through their website and was all ready to go! The actual class was pretty small, only 6 people, but I kind of liked it better that way because everyone was able to get their own mannequins. The lesson was taught mainly by a video, with some comments and stories here and there from the instructor.
Overall, the class was very informative and professional. I’d recommend this course to anyone who needs CPR/​First Aid certification. And I’m veryyyy likely to return in 2 years to renew mine.
