Established in 1985.

Dave and I (Phil) have been doing locksmithing for over 34 years. Actually I’ve known Dave since 5^th grade. Dave and I worked for other locksmiths for about 10 years, then decided to open our own company in 1985. We are not a nationwide sub out company, which is very common these days. When you call us you will always get one of us on the phone directly (we cover the business line from our cell phones). We are truly the «Local Guys». We go the extra mile to make our customers happy, you can ask any of my many regular customers and they will tell you the same. We are experts in Residential and Commercial Locksmithing including Electronic Access and our service vans are equipped the best you’ve ever seen. Looking forward to serving you.

Zero stars. Will not use again. Although the «gentleman» who was here to fix my tenants’ locks was incredibly efficient he has ZERO patience or customer service. He kept rambling off numbers different than what I was told by Phil when I made the appointments yesterday. When I tried to get hold of my tenants to authorize a different amount he became impatient stating that his time was incredibly precious and refused to do work on one of the units if I couldn’t get ahold of my clients in a poor cell phone reception area. Wouldn’t have taken more than five minutes. He showed up early, rushed me around and was confusing with prices. Certainly I can find another locksmith to use in the future.

Called OC Locksmith to find out information and get a quote. They person I spoke to was very rude had no idea about the lock I was talking about even though they «do everything» according to their website. They then refused to do the job. I understand that if you are unfamiliar with a product and feel unconformable with doing a job but there is no reason to be rude to a potential customer.

Had a new front door installed last week and wanted to make all my doors with the same key. So I called O.C. Locksmith because we had use them for my mom a couple of months ago when she moved up the street.
I called and asked if they could come on Wednesday and they said yes and said between 9−10am. Well Donald showed up at 8:55am. Now that is service.
He was pleasant and kind and made me my new keys. This is the second time we have dealt with O.C. Locksmith and have gotten great service. No scam locksmiths here. They are the real deal.
I also read a few of the bad reviews and I am impressed that Phil took the time to apologize to the people who gave them. That means they read their reviews, care about their service and attend to the ones that weren’t happy. That is a big plus in my book.

I can think of a lot of things I would rather do with $ 195 than spending it as a result of my own stupidity but if you find yourself in the same situation, I can’t imagine not feeling good about deciding to do business with OC Locksmith.
Went next door to take care of my neighbor’s cats and ended up locking myself out of my house. DUH!
First called AAA but I downgraded my plan earlier this year to Plus so didn’t have locksmith service anymore. They gave me a number to a locksmith.
Called that place first which turned out to be a «Dispatch Service». I think that should be called a Scam Service. Won’t give you a price, you have to pay the $ 19 service call and then find out what it will be. Fast talking trying to avoid giving any information. No thanks.
Lucky me, after a Google search I found OC Locksmith. Spoke with Gary who was able to quickly give me a the price ($ 195) and was on his way. He and another technician (failed to get his name), were on time, courteous, professional and Superman fast!
If you are looking for an honest company to do business with then I would highly recommend contacting OC Locksmith.

Had to do a lock out on a tenant I evicted today. I wasn’t notified until late yesterday and my regular guy wasn’t returning my calls. I called OC Locksmith at 10am this morning to see if they could be at my lock out at noon. I was told it was a really short notice, but he’d take care of me. They arrived before I got there at 11:45. The two guys were professional and took care of business very quickly. Even the police officer said they were some of the best he’s seen and he’s been doing lock outs for years. Thanks OC Locksmith!

Power was out and could not get into my house. Called OC Locksmith and Phil answered and sent his nephew Jordon to my house within 30 minutes of my call and around 5pm in the evening. He replaced a deadbolt (with a better one) and made me 4 keys. The price was fair. Jordan was prompt, honest and provided great service. I would definitely recommend them and would always choose to support a family run business!

I can’t say enough good things about O.C. Locksmith — Phil and Dave.
I hired this company to install about 25 door handles, locks and deadbolts. They were quick and responsive from beginning to end. They take pride in their work. Dave and his very able assistant, Jordon, didn’t just swap out the lock sets with the ones that were already in the door; after they installed the new hardware they fine-tuned each door so it closed and latched and locked easily.
The estimate was clear, the communication about appointments was outstanding. They didn’t leave any debris when they were finished – all I had were new handles and locks on 56-year-old doors that worked like they were new. I did get other estimates for this job and I am more than happy that I had this company do the work at my home.

This company touts itself as being highly professional, etc. After reading the reviews here we decided to try them.
We had an appointment, which they canceled same day last minute. We rescheduled and they were supposed to come the following morning, again, first thing. No one showed up. If you have an emergency, don’t count on these guys to show up. They don’t do what they say they’re going to do. And as an added comment, they told me that they had «wasted» several hours researching our locks. This offsets the countless hours they wasted of my time as I waited for them to show up. I do not recommend this company.
