Established in 2011.

With over 20 years of experience, Lisa strove to finally open her own business in 2011. After working in Tustin for many years, she turned a quaint photography studio in Orange into a homey salon. Lisa believes in the utmost quality above all and countless clients have remained loyal since her establishment.

I have been going to this salon for the past 14 years! Not only are the owners absolutely wonderful they are extremely great at cutting, coloring & styling hair!
I recently have been getting eyelash extensions from Cathy & she does an amazing job!
The prices are extremely affordable and walk-​ins are welcome! Definitely check this place out, I promise you will not be disappointed!

My first experience with acrylics has been amazing because of Crystal. She really took the time to make sure all of my nails were shaped perfectly and everything was done to my liking. She didn’t rush me and even paused occasionally to make sure my nails weren’t feeling too tender because apparently that’s common amongst people who get acrylics for the first time. Crystal is definitely a professional and I would totally recommend her!

My hair stylist Teresa moved here from across the street. I live 40 min away but you can’t find anyone who can cut my hair like Teresa can. She’s the greatest. My hair falls right in to place. I also really like the new place. Very clean and upbeat. Everyone very nice and helpful. Parking is great and it’s a good area. Please go get something done here. You won’t regret it. If it’s a haircut try Teresa, she’s fantastic!

Got my hair and nails done. Hair lady was very kind. Didnt get the color i asked for. She also left alot of hair dye on my scalp and ears. She did stay after hours so that was nice. i got a full set of nails. Lady burned me when she filed my nails with the machine. She also left the material under my nails. Full set is $ 18 which is not a bad price but she put a second color in my nails and didnt mention it would be $ 7 additional. So i felt deceived. They take credit cards but theres a fee. $ 1 below 50 and $ 2 if its more than 50.
Overall you get what you pay for.
Nice people and late hours but not the best quality.

Poor and disgusting ! I went there 2 days ago for a manicure… The people were rude. The place is disgusting! They had rotten fruits, half eaten… Tangerines skin in other corner, that looks like have been there for a week. The place smells! And the horrible manicure is already ruined! The don’t even know how to apply nail polish!

I come here for all my beauty needs. It’s a one stop shop. Tan is amazing at haircuts. Valeria is the best threader there is! She is upbeat and knows what I need without me asking. She has threaded my eyebrows for 3 years now and has done my makeup of several occasions. She is knowledgeable and trustworthy. Lisa the owner is awesome. She is good to her customers and her employees. This is how you can tell she is a wonderful boss. I love it here and that’s why I keep on coming back!

I started coming here maybe about a year or so ago when my mom first discovered the place. The ladies that have done my nails have great customer service and my nails always come out extremely clean and well done. I love it and I’ve become a regular. I’ve gotten my hair cut by them and I’ve never been disappointed.
Though one time they did cut it a little shorter than I wanted, but I still loved it and the lady took her time doing it so that it would come out perfect. I really appreciate that and them.

I have been coming to this salon for well over a year now. since I moved its been hard to make my way out here. I tried a couple other salons and no one can compare to the perfect nails crystal can give me. crystal never ceases to amaze me with how great my nails look when I am done. once she does your nails you’ll never want anyone else to touch them again. tan also used to do my hair and is also amazing. this salon tops all others I have been to.

I really do like this Salon. It is very close to my home, they are very accommodating and friendly. I recently went in on a same day appointment and had Tan cut my hair. I have to say I am a little disappointed, I showed him 4 pictures of what I was looking for, and as I know they can’t always replicate the cut, he definitely cut it way shorter than I wanted, at least 2 inches shorter. I have to keep it up for work, and I let him know I needed to be able to keep long bangs that I could push behind my ear. It’s too short. I will be back but after it grows back!

The salon is located in a house, once inside you will see it’s nothing fancy but for the price of the services are great. All of the staff is friendly, Tan does great cut and color. They offer all services here including threading, waxing, pedicure, manicure, nail art, haircuts, color, updos and men’s cuts. If you do come, plan on spending a little longer hair than you would at some other places. The reason for this is they don’t like to turn away business, and will keep adding to their schedule until they are full. Which forces customers to wait while they try to accommodate everyone.

I’ve gone in multiple times as a walk-​in and they’ve been great for a simple haircut. Since I have had good experiences I decided to trust them with taking out the semi permanent dye I had put in my hair. I am a natural blonde and needed to go back to my natural color. For a long story short, I was in there for four hours and walked out with a color that they said was «natural blonde» and was actually purple. Thank god they used crappy dye, and the color came out almost completely about a week later.
Moral of the story: don’t get your hair dyed here.

Got a mani & French pedi and I felt like they rushed through everything. I’m not super picky about my nails but even I had to point out spots that they had missed on both my hands AND feet. I had to have her do my thumb again because it was all chunky, and I find it hard to believe she didn’t notice the first time. And she didn’t even remove all the red polish I had on my nails from before. Another client came in and the lady doing my toes was rushing to get to her. I really wanted to like this place, but feel like I got the shaft!

I wish I could give this horrible place 0 stars. Me and my girlfriend went in to get her nails done and I didn’t know it takes 3 hours to accomplish a gel manicure.
First of all they told her to hold on so they could help another customer, which I don’t have a problem with but having us wait an hour while you help is pretty lame. And then to have attitude when she asks to file her nails shorter? Looks like they got the wrong boat at the port and got the mean ones.
(Employees. None of them even smiled.)
Thank you New York styles we will never go again and I hope you lose clients because of my bad experience.

This is a good place to go for a quick, inexpensive haircut. Since I just wanted to cut my hair short and keep my side bangs, I decided to give it a try.
Didn’t know what to expect since this salon is in a house. However, the inside is clean and professional. I heard they’ve been there for many years.
I got my hair washed and cut fairly quickly. You get what you pay for. No massage or any special treatment. Just direct to the point. I know I didn’t need a blow dry but they didn’t even dry it thoroughly!
Yes, I would go back for another trim but dont go if you want to pamper yourself.
Park on the same street as the salon. If you end up around the corner, you’ll have to walk a long block.

Stopped in to this salon last minute to get my nails fixed from my disgusting visit from Hi Tek Nails. The ladies at NYN are so nice. I had Kathy and she was such a sweetheart and did a great job on fixing my nails. I got a fill, 2 nails fixed and gel and it was only $ 30!!! Amazing! Will definitely be coming back to this place :)

I’ve known Lisa, the stylist and owner of this salon, for 15 years. She and her family work closely to make sure that every customer gets great service. 100% of the time, I can call and get an appointment on the same day or for last minute. Wonderful people and great service, excellent price too.

Just moved here from out of state. Found this salon on Unilocal and close to my house in Old Towne Orange. Tan was great– love my hair and happy to have found my new salon. I keep getting compliments on my hair. I highly recommend New York Styles.
