History

Established in 1995.

Neighborhood Garage Door Service began in a tiny garage on a small wooden desk, an old notepad, and a house phone. It was a simple mom, pop and son operation that earned jobs via referrals around town. The small time family finally gathered enough courage to take out a small business loan and placed ads all around town including phone books, newspapers, and message boards. In 2 short years, the company grew to 8 full time certified technicians and was the trusted name in garage doors throughout the community. Over the next 15+ years, the team slowly upgraded every aspect of the business from trucks to products offered to technician expertise. Today, we have a local staff of over 50 here to help you with everything related to your garage door.

Meet the Manager

Forrest P.

Manager

Forrest was born and raised in the service industry. His father was a dairy farmer, and his mother was an intensive care nurse, so he was no stranger to putting the needs of others before his own. He began his first business at 11 years old cutting lawns around the neighborhood. At 18, he got a job at a local moving company, where he worked his way up to become one of the youngest moving company franchise owners in history. After a few years in that business, he sold the company and decided to dive into the low-​consumer trust industry of garage doors with a plan to bring integrity and high service values with him. Well, that commitment was plain as day to his customers, and business thrived. He continues to be the local industry leader around town. When he isn’t helping families like yours escape their garages, he’s playing drums at his local church, spending time with his puppy, and don’t tell anyone, but he’s planning on proposing to his long-​time girlfriend any day now!
