Level2 Automation

After a recent burglary at my business, I felt the need to install a professional security and monitoring system. I did some thorough research and price shopping, I decided to go with Level2 Automation for my small business needs. The staff was professional and timely. Their pricing was very affordable compared to other companies. The equipment was state of the art. They worked around our operating schedule so that the installation would not disturb our clients. The customer service was impeccable. They even did a follow up call to insure my satisfaction. I definitely will refer them to my family, friends and clients. I’m very pleased!

This company has undoubtedly the worst customer service of any alarm company in orange county. When Chris contacted us and told us about their service we were interested and set up an appointment. I had just paid my alarm bill the day before, so even though we decided we wanted the system I told him we wanted to wait because we were paid up. He said no problem, they would refund the money we had paid if they could install immediately. We agreed and on September 14, 2015 they installed our new system. Chris called back and said that he had contacted our previous alarm company and there was a balance due on our contract of $ 200.00, but they would pay that too. So now they have committed to a $ 240.00 refund. Then I got a bill from my previous company and since Chris said they would pay it, I ignored the bill another month another bill, so I called and they said no one had contacted them and no one had paid anything. They cut the bill in half and I paid $ 100.00. I called Level2 several times to try and resolve the issue, but no one would return my calls. Finally I called and said I had an alarm emergency, they called back immediately I talked with Sarah on November 11, 2015 and she said that the reason we had not been paid was because we had not sent in a copy of the statement showing how much we had paid to end our service. I emailed a copy of the bill and got a response saying it would take 4 to 6 weeks to process the request. I told her it had already been 2 months since Chris told me he would mail us a check, so she said they would try to get it out sooner. About a week later I called because we were having a false alarm issue and was assured it was covered under warranty and that there would be no charge. Service man shows up and says that the problem is due to our previous equipment and so we owed $ 75.00 service call. I told them to deduct it from the money they owed me for 2 months, They apologized and cancelled the service call fees and assured me that my refund would be processed on Thursday. As of today January 4, 2016, after two the check is in the mail calls, I still don’t have my refund. This is four months later and we are talking only $ 140.00. Thank God its not a $ 1,000.00 I would never get it. Use someone else with a better reputation. Alarm companies are a dime a dozen, why deal with unreliable companies.

We’ve had good luck with Level 2 — we called them on a referral and have been happy so far. The equipment works well, especially the outdoor cameras (great image, very customizeable). The system is easy to use and the phone app works awesome. Sales and installation people were friendly and on time, and when we have called with a question or to schedule, the office admin are very friendly and helpful. We chose Level 2 as we didn’t want to deal with the corporate issues you get with the huge companies — highly recommend!

I can’t say enough bad things about this company. Their sales person was a liar. The equipment is cheap. The batteries kept dying and even after I replaced them it wouldn’t work. I would get 10+ emails a day about the sensors no longer communicating with the main unit. And good luck if you ever move. What a nightmare. Horrible customer service and all around horrible company. Do yourself a favor a go with a reputable, well-​known company.

Excellent service One day they were in my neighborhood and they knock on my door and i could not refuse after seeing what they offering. I would tell everyone if you need alarm system they are the best. they set everything up on my phone and my husband and show us how to work it from our phones.

Level 2 Automation happened to come knocking on our door around the same time we were thinking of installing a system. Chris was very knowledgable and answered all my husbands questions. My husband, knowing me, knew that I would have more questions… and Chris made another appointment to come back to our house again to answer my questions.
I did additional research and comparison shopping and the price and contract appeared to be mainstream.
We went ahead and ordered the system. They came on time for the installation and the technician again explained the system in detail. He also helped us install the app that allows us to control it from our phone.
About a week in we had a false alarm.
We determined that the location of the motion sensor may not be the best location. We notified Level2 and made arrangements to have the motion sensor mounted in a different location.
While the false alarm had my heart beating, it allowed us to see the system in action.
I appreciate that they’ve explained everything in detail and are willing to continue to answer questions if we have them. Customer Service followed up with us after our false alarm, and again after we relocated the sensor, to make sure everything was okay and to our satisifaction.

Buyer beware!!! I agreed to sign up for this service and to their 3 year contract. My mistake to not read the fine print. A little over 8 months into this deal we realized we did not use this service as much as we would like so we tried to cancel. Well, if you plan to cancel be very aware that your cancellation rate is 80% of your remaining contract. In this particular case, $ 1200+. Unlike just about EVERY other service provider of any service for a home where you can usually pay a couple of hundred bucks to part ways and keep face with one another this company absolutely sticks it to you.

The service which got from Level2 Automation is excellent. The people who works there were very knowledgeable and they explained everything clearly. Very good job, highly recommended!!!

My system was installed in march and I love it. It makes mine and my families life a whole lot easier. Would highly recommend!
