LC Handyman

For the past 4 years I have used Larry for painting, plumbing, electrical, flooring and wood working Larry’s craftsmanship is easily the best I have ever seen. Larry is always my first call when I need any handyman or restoration work completed. Larry is always super professional and completes all the work in a timely fashion.

Larry just completed a large renovation of our 100-​year-​old detached garage along with lots of exterior updates to our equally old home. Each aspect of the job was completed on time with lots of communication to make sure the details met our expectations. If you want your job done right the first time and in a manner that will last, then call Larry. His prices are fair and you will get what you pay for. You can undoubtedly find someone else who promises to do the job for less, but there is a price to be paid for the quality of Larry’s work.

I am not a review type of person but after reading some of the reviews that were left for Larry by PEOPLE THAT NEVER HAD ANY WORK DONE FOR THEM BY LARRY I feel I must share my experience of WORK THAT LARRY ACTUALLY DID FOR ME. I was given Larry’s number from a good friend of mine that goes to the same church as Larry does. I was getting tired of hearing my wife complain that my «one day» project was already taking more than six months to complete. I run my own business and unfortunately it seems like I am working 7 days a week just to keep it going. So I know first hand what it is like to have a customer call you and think that their lack of planning is somehow your emergency. So when I called Larry to see if he could save me (from my wife) I knew that it might take a little while before he could get it done. I think I waited for about two days for Larry to call me back. We decided on what day he would do the work and how much it was going to cost. When that day came. Larry was 10 minutes earlier than he said he would arrive. He was done sooner than he said the work would take (about 6 months sooner than I was able to do) and he charged me less than the original quote. So from my ACTUAL EXPERIENCE OF LARRY DOING WORK FOR ME I will give you this advice. He did a great job PERIOD. He completed the job within the time he said he would PERIOD. And he did the work at an extremely fair price. PERIOD. Like I said above I usually do not leave reviews but I also do not think it is fair to leave a 1 star review for someone as good as Larry WHEN THE REVIEWER NEVER ACTUALLY HAD LARRY DO ANY WORK FOR THEM.

I recently had the services of Larry and found him to be very attentive to my needs. He was able to make an early appointment with me, showed up on time and did all of the work I requested with a smile.
Larry ran a refrigerator water line, rescreened a window, hooked up a washer and dryer, he did some electrical work, repaired a closet door, and allowed me to close the sale of my house… and was willing to move a couple extra items for me as well. He made sure I was pleased with the handyman service I received. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs a handyman. He went above and beyond what I would’ve expected.

Larry has done work for me on numerous occasions. He’s been punctual and has a high quality of work. His pricing has been fair as well.

I call they answer and I say I need wall repair and they said email and phone conversation ended.
I emailed and two weeks later no response. Everyone wrote good reviews so I was excited to call but he never follows up. I’ve seen a couple other people have these issues.

You can count on Larry. He is prompt, honest and skillful. I definitely recommend him.

Larry put new lights in our kitchen. Also put in a new sink and painted. Did a great job in a short time. I will have him do work for me again.

I feel compelled to let the Unilocal community know about this handyman. I contacted him to install a mantel shelf on top of my fireplace. He was very dry when I spoke to him and didn’t seem enthusiastic at all about taking on new business. I didn’t let that get to me as most of all the Unilocal reviews sing his praises as a great handyman.
After our conversation he asked me to E-​mail him pictures specs of the job, so I did immediately after him and I spoke. In the body of the E-​mail I asked for him to give me a call or E-​mail me the estimate and when he could schedule to install the mantel shelf — no answer.
A couple days had passed so I decided to follow up, although I firmly believe I shouldn’t have to be the one to follow up. Nevertheless I contacted Larry again and I asked him if he had received my E-​mail and he was VERY dry again and said «Yes, maybe I think so.» I then asked him to double check and told him I wanted to get the job done ASAP. He replied «OK.» So I asked what the next step was. He said he was going to review my job description that I E-​mailed and he would get back to me.
I allowed for two days to pass and called him yesterday ¹⁰⁄₁₉ — no answer. I tried to follow up with him again today ¹⁰⁄₂₀ and again no answer.
Larry seems like the type of Handyman that has to be begged to do a job and that’s not the type of handyman I want. I was practically begging him to come put up the mantel shelf, I have been chasing him for a week, and now I’m going to begin looking for another handyman to work with as LArry is unresponsive and doesn’t care about business coming his way.
The LEAST he could do after having me follow up so many times, is tell me he cannot take on the work at this time. I would have looked elsewhere long ago, but he dragged me along for the past 9 days.
Do not work with someone that doesn’t care to get back to potential clients, ignores their calls, doesn’t inform you what the next step is, and has you follow up with him rather than the other way around. Thanks but no thanks lazy Larry.

Three emails and two follow up calls and got no response after the initial call. At least acknowledge your customers. I have no problem waiting if you’re busy, but don’t appreciate being put on hold.

Larry was fantastic with his tasks around at my home. His business card is now on our refrigerator — he’s our handyman. He was efficient and quick with his work; twice as quick to recommend someone else when he ran into a task that was beyond his experience. I’ve tried at least a half a dozen other guys before — Larry was first one to be spot on time and smack on budget. Only con: he is in demand, so be patient for an appointment.

Hi Unilocalers! I hate to be the 2 star gal today, but this was my experience. I filled out a contact form on Larry’s website (last Sunday), to be sure they received it I called the next day expecting to leave a message (Labor Day weekend). Larry answered the phone (nice surprise) and we chatted briefly about my needs. Side note: call because the contact form I filled out wasn’t up and running yet I found out. I didn’t have a big job, but a few things I needed help with. He provided his email and later Monday evening I emailed the details and photos. Wednesday I texted to see if he received the photos and he texted back ‘yes’…that was it. Still no response about the job or an estimate provided so I emailed on Thursday to touch base about it as I wanted to get the job done soon. It’s Sunday and no response. I’m a give the benefit of the doubt person, but I was disappointed because Larry has many positive reviews. I’m also an understanding gal — if my work can’t be done, you don’t want the job, you’re too busy… I get it. Just let a customer know either way. To all the 5 star Unilocalers — I’m glad you had a great experience! :)

After researching and interviewing multiple contractors to get an estimate on removing a wall to open up our kitchen, we called Larry Conzelman. Not only was his price fair, but we could tell almost immediately he was the right person to do the job. His work showed quality craftsmanship and he got the job done in record time. We would definitely consider Larry for our next project!

Larry is fast and reliable. His prices are reasonable and competitive. He cares about his business and his customers. I will continue to use Larry for my handyman needs. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, conscientious and reasonably priced handyman.

Found Larry on Unilocal after many unsuccessful attempts to locate someone who could swap out an old in-​wall unit. Price was reasonable and the work was done in a timely manner. All my wife could say was ‘wow, that is so much better — he really did a good job.’
Also, thanks to Larry’s assistant (his son) we located an unrelated issue which I was able to get repaired within a few days. I’m very glad that we went with LC Handyman for our little project, and would trust him on a bigger one.

Very pleased with hiring Larry to do small job at my rental. My renters were pleased with his courtesy and the job looked great when I was able to go look. I really appreciated him working with me by emailing the invoice as I am remote. I highly recommend him and would definitely hire him again!
