I’ve been with another security company for my office for over 12 years before I made the move to Jadtec. The reason for the move was simple: I save 50% on the monthly payments. The transfer from the old security to Jadtec was seamless and quite easy. The technician was able to use my existing panel, keypad, motion sensors and other equipment, so no extra cost there. So far, so good.

I can’t say enough about Jadtec! Their customer service was so helpful. My husband and I wanted the best security for our family within our budget. The techs were always on time and whenever I had a question they always took the time to make sure I understood. Class act!

It takes a lot for me write a negative review. Being in sales myself, I understand how a negative review affects a business. Being a homeowner, I also understand how necessary both positive and negative reviews are to gauge an offering. That said, i’m very cautious about giving both positive and negative grades. Seeing as how not one person will return my phone call or chat with me, i’m left to air my negative experience on Unilocal and with the Better Business Bureau.
I’ve been a very happy customer with ADT. My only complaint with them is their high monthly charges. I had heard of Jadtec through family and decided to try it out. Spoke at length with the sales representative and felt that the security I would be receiving would be at a comparable level. We discussed price and they sent a technician out to take a look at our system to give a quote of all necessary charges.
The technician spent over 2 hours at the home looking at our ADT set-​up. He was extremely polite, but seemed very novice. I reiterated several times that I wanted to be assured that there would be no hidden costs come time of set-​up. He talked with his manager on the phone and reviewed the set-​up with him as well and then confirmed that they could transfer over our service without any additional costs. He confirmed what the set-​up charges would be and what the monthly cost would be. Afterwards, the salesperson also confirmed the totals.
2 weeks later, a new technician comes out to set us up. He now tells me that we have to pay $ 250 for a new set-​up because they can’t use ours AND it will be an extra $ 10/​month on our bill. We didn’t change a thing to our set-​up since the last technician was here so why the new charge? His manager who he was on the phone with wouldn’t speak with me to explain. Neither would anyone at Jadtec for that matter. I asked to speak with anyone for an explanation of the new charges and to better understand why the quotes had changed when nothing changed in our set-​up. I was calm and respectful and Jadtec couldn’t offer me the respect of explaining their charges. I gave over 5 hours of my time, the least they could do is call me back.
If I can’t trust you to jump on a sales/​customer service call with me, how can I expect you to properly protect/​secure my home? Needless to say, I’m going back to ADT. Yes, it’s slightly more a month but now I understand why. I’ll gladly pay a few more dollars for the sense of security and advise other homeowners to do the same.

I friend of mine, a lover of everything electronic, told me bout Jadtec. I had been using Company X for years and they kept raising their prices. Based on my friends high recommendation, I switched to Jadtec in 2009, the conversion went easily and the cost was half of what I was paying Company X. I have been completely satisfied ever since. The people are very responsive (thank you Casey).

NO STARS!!! I just now tried to call to see how much just monitoring and internet capability would cost, (something we have now). As a 1^st time caller, I was put on hold for about 3 – 4 minutes without anybody coming back so I hung up. I guess I got my answer.

They installed 4 motion sensors and two smoke sensors for $ 2200…way over price but their montly maintenance is cheaper… around $ 17.00, and I was desperate due to robberies in the neigborhood. I wanted to add 3 cameras w/​a locked hard drive system to record activity. They quoted me $ 5,000!!!
What a rip off! I won’t deal with this company again, as they think they can rip off a single woman!!!

Thank you ADT for introducing me to Jadtec Security! 2 years ago, we remodeled our house, and changed our windows to energy efficient windows. Being a loyal ADT customer for over 15 years, I wanted to stay with them after I remodeled. But, they were not loyal to me. They told me that it would cost me over $ 1000 to upgrade my alarm system, in addition to paying the monthly $ 40 fee to monitor my system. Since they were willing to give new customers a new alarm system for free, and do nothing for me, I made the switch to Jadtec.
Their technician did a wonderful job in installing my system. He arrived as scheduled. Since my new system was wireless, there was not very many wires to run. He did a wonderful job of concealing wires. Jadtech does not offer free systems like ADT. They require you to pay up front. Instead of $ 40 to monitor the system like ADT, Jadtec only charges me $ 12.95 for monitoring.
I haven’t had any false alarms yet. I did have an attempted burglary, but, the burglar was not too smart. Apparently, the dummy panicked when he couldn’t open my french patio doors to let his homies in, and left through the front door without taking anything. I don’t know how he didn’t see the 3 Jadtec signs in my front yard. Because of the dummies, I also now have video cameras outside as suggested by the local Sheriff.
Thank you ADT for having me switch to Jadtec. I no longer have any false alarms and I don’t have to pay so much anymore. I am glad I made the switch!

Don’t Do It!!! This is the worst security company ever. No customer service skills at all. I had this service for 8 yrs and until recently, I never really had to interact with them too much but when I did, the experience was soooooo negative that I quickly terminated the service. The reps couldn’t care less about your business. They didn’t even care that a long time customer was leaving all due to rudeness. I set an appointment and they never showed up or called. When I called to inquire, I was told the tech was busy and they don’t pay over time. WTH, I took off work and have been sitting here waiting. Someone could have at least called.

We have been using Jadtec Security for over 7 years at 3 locations. We purchased a home with an existing alarm system which to be frank was worthless since it was a basic model with little functionality. Jadtec installed a new system with remote website access and text or e-​mail notitifcation. Their customer service, response time and price point is hard to beat. I’d choose them all day over their competitors.

I’ve been a Jadtec customer for a number of years after inheriting them from the prior homeowner. While they are polite over the phone, I’ve had chronic and ongoing problems that never seem to get repaired properly. Scheduling is nearly always a problem often waiting weeks to get a tech to either repair a problem or come back and fix something again. I work very hard to use and hire local independent business owners but I think I’m done with this one. They are horribly understaffed to accommodate the most fundamental problems and I believe not worthy of consideration. TONY

We live in an area where I didn’t feel the need to have an alarm system and for almost 20 years this was the case. But after a break in where all of my gold jewelry was stolen and our house overturned (happened between 9 AM and noon) I contacted my friends at Jadtec Security Service to see if they could install a security system and monitor my home even though I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Within one week, our system was installed and I now have peace of mind. They are very diligent with their monitoring and contact me right away if they suspect a problem. I sleep easier at night, especially when I am alone.

I’ve had Jadtec Security Services for 10 years for my home, prices are great! They are good about calling me if i have a faulty signal on their end. Very happy with this service.

I have had Jadtec for MANY years. can’t even remember at this point how long. I have them for my home and office and I am completely satisfied. Both situations I had Jadtec take over pre-​installed equipment and have had cause for alarms. The response time was quick and they are always professional. If anyone thinks they have to pay $ 50 a month for monitoring with the ADT’s out there they are wasting their money.

We have been using Jadtec Security For over seventeen years, This company is always Johhny on the spot. any time our system trips they get the signal and call right away. We also had the back-​up communications installed (incase the phonelines go down) I am giving Jadtec Security five stars because they do their job right. Thank you Jadtec.

If I could give this service 0 stars. I would. No wait, I’d give it NEGATIVE stars.
Our house had a break in a while back and we had this system installed. Recently, our house was broken into again, and in a very peculiar manner. Virtually nothing was taken, but the alarm system was severed in all the right places and completely bypassed. The burglar crawled under the sensors and straight to our control box. Fishy.
Terrible service AND they made us pay for the repairs. What is the point of paying a monthly subscription if it doesn’t work???
