First and last time I go to this place for Chinese food. Very salty, pork was tough felt rubbery, Orange chicken was disgusting. Honestly I threw the food away. I dislike leaving negative comments about an eatery place but this place is no good.

Excellent! The last family that owned were kinda mean and the food was so-so. The new family is AMAZING. Not only did they improve the quality of the food, but they’ve also reduced their prices so it becomes an outstanding bang for your buck. To top it all off, the lady that runs it is the nicest little old lady you will ever meet. Super quick with your order, is always polite, and very appreciate. I got some food to go and since she was doing such a nice job I decided to write in a $ 1 tip(I never too when I get take out. Who does, right?). And in the gentlest voice she said«oh…you are so good to me. Thank you so much! We appreciate your business!» 10⁄10 will be back!

Cheap food that reminds me of the Chinese food counter at Food 4 Less that I used to eat at many years ago. The food here is cheap, both in price and in quality. I had the 2 choice meal option with fried rice and chow mien. It came with beef and broccoli and orange chicken, it was bland and yet salty at the same time. I didn’t enjoy it. The staff was beyond polite and the restaurant was clean. Overall it just didn’t do it me. That’s my opinion.

Recently finished remodeling the restaurant. Same owner however food quality and serving is not the same! Order lunch special with Mushroom Chicken and chow mien. Portion size is definitely smaller than before. Large chunks of vegetables that are not even cooked. Only had 4 pieces of chicken and Mushrooms were barely sautéed. I know they might undercook the vegetables to account for the time they may be sitting under the lamps to continue cooking, but this is almost inedible. I like my vegetables cooked. It is also salty! I guess I’ll stick to my Mushroom Chicken at Panda Express!

This place isnt the same after all these years. Came in for a chicken mushroom lunch special. One cup of rice and about three quarters cup of chicken mushroom with an egg. Their portion size are smaller and there isn’t much items to choice from when you look at the steam table. They still offer made to order items which I didn’t get. Sadly prob won’t be back with more options now days.

Disclaimer: I never have been in the actual joint, only delivery Since I have had a special guest(my mom) and I can’t always drive(long story…), we started to rely on food delivery and this is one of our favorites. The Good: — Hong Kong BBQ has pretty decent food at a reasonable price. — They make a mean won-ton soup(one of my favorite soups ever, along with my beloved ajiaco) — The brown rice is really good, salt free, perfect to eat — Once they know your address, they become pretty quick. — You can browse the menu, order, pay with Cc(tip included), and check the status of your order on the email from the Unilocal App and eat24 The Bad –The sweet and sour, is more sweet than sour. Change the name or change the recipe. — One day the won-ton soups was kinda bland and the dough of the dumplings too thick. Bad day :( The Meh — Lack of consistency, some days the food tastes better than others, some days just different. — Manners/customer service or however you want to call it, they lack of it :( My mom(Yes, the Colombian Goddess’ mom, like a Colombian Hera); she’s far more forgiving than me and She’ll give them a 4.5. Her main complain is the lack of sour in the sweet and sour. She loves the consistency of the veggies: crunchy perfect! It’s very convenient, pretty decent, at a reasonable price. Recommended :) when lazy, hungry and with cabin fever :)

This place is straight up disgusting. The people who work here are dirty. No sanitary standards whatsoever. They have a mildly retarded guy working who keeps rubbing his greasy face with his hand and is handily food. He also continues to wipe his filthy hands all all over his clothes. The lady running the show is screaming in Chinese at all of the staff. On top of that, I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes for orange chicken. This is a food to go? What a joke. I’m reporting this place to the health department. Don’t come here. You’d be better off starving to death

— Accepts Credit Card !! EXPENSIVEEGGROLLS — Pass Truthfully I have been to PLENTY of these Fast Food Chinese and it dissapoints me to see one with terrible service. When I arrived earlier the place was empty except for a single guy texting in a chair. No one was at the counter so I was perplexed. I found out that it was that guy texting that was the actual server. He looked like he felt bothered by me being there, something I haven’t seen recently in these shops. There wasnt ANY prepared food at the time. Which was strange because it was still 5pm. I asled why there was no food and he scoffed and began mumbling under his breathe. The eggrolls here are EXPENSIVE: $ 1.50EACH?! For tiny vegetable eggrolls?! Pass this. I got 2 Item Combo: The orange chicken was dry and the noodles were bland!(Freshly cooked too wtf?!) The teriyaki was average. Dissapointed about the customer service and the food doesnt justify coming here again. No reason for me to come here and no reason to give it a good review.

Just got delivery. Not sure how this place has any stars. I threw away almost everything. Beef quality was really suspect. The lettuce wraps were the only thing worth eating and they weren’t all that great.

This was my go-to Chinese delivery place when I lived in Orange. I’ve never actually been in the place since I’ve only ever gotten delivery. Their paper-wrapped chicken is to-die for. Their vegetable chow mein has a great texture and isn’t too greasy. The Kung Pao shrimp /chicken is great and actually has a kick to it. Broccoli beef is also great. The only thing I’ll say is that sometimes they had the really good chef working and then other times it would just be the ‘OK’ chef. Docking one star for inconsistency. Delivery is free and usually always on time. Great reliable Chinese delivery place.

It’s a hole in the wall but maybe that’s what you like. If I worked nearby I might come back but I wouldn’t for any other reason. My hubby thought it was too expensive for low quality. Having never been here or seen the place, we called in an order. So, we didn’t order combos but al a carte. Wrong move…$ 29 later… I thought it was ok but, we did not eat the leftovers and I always eat leftovers. Hubby said no way, no bueno, never again.

Unilocal challenge 201511⁄365 Take home chinese But dont forget to say please Order some orange chicken And you’ll be lickin Super high hopes for this place after reading some of my trusted fellow Unilocaler reviews. I wanted take out and something new. Located at Glassel and Collins in a tiny strip mall. Just look for the taco man chillin in the parking lot and you know your there. Its not the best area, so dont go at night. Unless of course, you have your four legged friend. No, its not that bad. It just looks worse than it is. The lady behind the counter was friendly and offered suggestions. The food here is made to order and your in and out in less than 15 minutes. If you dont like to wait call ahead. So its a gamble not knowing what the food looks like. For lunch I think they have the trays out so you can pick and chose. I ordered a Orange chicken combo with chow mein. The orange chicken chunks were battered and deep fried. Very crispy as it bathed in a sticky sweet orange sauce. My only complaint is the chicken chunks were large and in charge, quite a mouth full. The chowmein had zero veggies. The beast of mine who Unilocal but doesnt Unilocal said the food was alright, which means its better than ok. The Kung Pao chicken was on the mild side. No Kung Kick in this one. The chicken was stirfried and accompanyied by a few chili peppers, a palmful of nuts, a lonely carrot and lots and lots of onions. Big chunks of onions. It was better than other fast food chinese, but a little over cooked. The chow mein with this place was full of veggies. I guess they all made their way to this plate. MOO Shu chicken was good, all white meat mixed with veggies, almost like a slaw but it came with only 2 wraps instead of 4 and 1 container of Hoison saice. Make sure you get extra crepes and extra Hoison sauce. This was okay. They offer self serve fountain drinks with $ 1.00 refills. The water tastes like rust. You know, like when you were a kid and sucked on the hose from the garden. Thats what it tasted like. Even my dog wouldnt drink it. Dinner for 2 to go under $ 20. For the price its worth it. I walked away satisfied with no regrets of eating here. For about $ 6.00 -$ 9.00 a dish you cant go wrong. Way better than other fast food chinese places. A okay! *review 522

White rice wasnt great. It’s a little dry. Teriyaki chicken is good. It’s not covered in thick greasy sauce. Vegetable is decent. Staff is super friendly. Price is right. I’ll eat here again if I’m in the area.

This is my favorite Chinese Food place. They are right next to my work so its really convenient. I always get their lunch special with Chow Mein, Orange Chicken and an egg roll. It also comes with a drink, all for under $ 5. I don’t like alot of veggies in my chow mein and they never over do it with veggies like ALOT of places do. They are also very generous with their portions most of the time. The woman that works up front is very nice too. This is a great place to stop on your lunch break or for dinner!

So a coworker and I had wanted to try some cheap chinese joints and the pickings are very slim for the most part. Consequently, we came here. It was the only one we hadnt been to yet. There are only two others that we know of as well, so we will be looking at finding some more. Well this place is very hard to decipher. Yes it is an enigma. I know what you were thinking. I can assure you that this is not the place you want to take a late lunch to unless you have been there a time or two before. Its impossible to figure out what some of the stuff is otherwise. This is since they fill up the hot tray bins once at like noon and then when they are empty, they make it all to order. I think this is pretty messed up since at 12:45 ¾s of the bins were empty and we had no clue what was what. Pro Tip: No AmEx here, come early as mentioned above. The food itself was up and down… some was good and some was avg and some was not as good… I got the lunch special which was $ 4.63 with tax included. It was lo mein with; 1 hot tray item, 1 eggroll(veggie) and a drink. I hadn’t known the eggroll was veggie =\ The lo mein was very average tasting and reminded my friend and I totally of Mongolian bbq style noodles with very few veggies and zero meat in it. My hot tray item was chicken with a teriyaki style glaze. The chicken was decent and without the glaze it totally average. The glaze seemed overdone as it was super thick, but it tasted ok My coworker got a 2 item combo and picked their spicy chicken and orange chicken. Both items were prepared to order as they were out of the dishes in the hot tray. The spicy chicken was sliced jalapenos with chicken and was not that good(per my buddy). The orange chicken was very good he thought as well. No fortune cookies with these meals, but the price wasn’t bad at all and the service was average. I think we will come back to try this place again earlier on when more food should be in the steam table pans…
