not very happy with the battery rebuilt, the check engine lights went on and off. I’ll continue to drive for a few months to see what will happen. Bothers me that I paid $ 1100 and the car doesn’t run like it it should be. 1 month of irritation they found out it was the sensor that went dead. I got it fixed for free but was told the sensor don’t sell outside, only comes with the battery??? Cost over $ 600 with parts and labor next time wow! I gave them a dead battery not the sensor. It should be cover with the battery. Cross my fingers…

Just had my 2002 prius fixed at Electron. Great service: honest, accurate diagnosis, friendly, and very knowledgeable! I went to various shops only to have been rejected for having a hybrid car. I decided on Electron after searching on Unilocal for a reliable shop capable of hybrid repair (they fix all cars including hybrids). Chris, the owner, also teaches at a college and another mechanic, Jimmy, is his top student. It just felt nice knowing my car was in good hands. Before I knew it, I was back to rolling down the mean streets of oc, big pimpin in my beloved ride!

I took my wife’s Toyota Prius for repair here. I visited a lot of different shops but most of them refused to work on mine because it is a Hybrid car and they have no idea on how to work with Hybrid vehicles. Some tried to fix it but couldn’t find the cause of problem.
Then I found this shop. Because of the shop name, I thought they probably knows how to fix hybrid cars.
Chris, the owner of the shop took my car without any hesitation. Seemed like he is very confident with working on Hybrid vehicles.
Turned out that he is a professor at a college and teaches automotive electrics to students!!! After hearing that I became confident too!
He took out some electric scanner, hook it to the car and ran some tests. Then he quickly identified the problem. A day later, my wife’s old Prius was running like new again.
Too bad that I did not find this shop sooner. I could have saved a lot of time if I found him sooner.
Having an Automotive Repair professor working on your car is a privilege. From now Chris will take care of all my car repair needs. I am so glad that I found him!

Chris is thr man. If u need auto repair just forget about everyone else. Electron auto is the best. Fast cheap and reliable and honest

I was very pleased with the service that I received at Electron auto. I have a 2007 Saab 9 – 3 aero and had the brakes worked on at another shop. After the break job, there was a bad rattle in the front end at high speed. After 3 return trips, including 1.5 weeks where I left my car at the other shop they couldn’t fix the problem. Chris took the time to test drive the car with me, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in 24 hours at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Electron auto to my friends and family.

Electron Automotive is a lifesaver! The owner, Chris, is a very honest and talented young man with automotive mechanics and electrical. Honest and fair… not lazy. Researches options for you whether you want OEM or aftermarket parts.
I drive an ’86 BMW and Chris always gets me the original OEM parts at a fair price and stands fully behind his work.
I’ve been a customer for 3 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else… oh, by the way I live in Long Beach and whether I drive in or have the car towed, it goes to Electron!

I just moved to the area and have a Saab (aka sob story). I googled saab mechanics and Laguna was closest, but they did not have good reviews at all. My check engine light was on. I was directed to Chris’s shop from Unilocal and so happy I drove the extra 10 minutes to Orange from Newport Beach. He was really upfront with what the diagnostic charge would be, and checked for market and after market prices on parts to give me options, which i love. His assistant Ashley was really helpful as well. They have a clean shop, couches to sit on, or an outside chair table set up with a soda while you wait. Oh and they have a new shop kitten Lex, short for electron, so adorable. Super friendly, highly recommend, especially for women who have had bad car mechanic situations before. I would recommend him for foreign and domestic cars. He also advised me on smog check procedures and recommended a shop close by.

Came here for the second time for my other car. The same professional, trustworthy, prompt, and caring treatment by Chris. Thanks.

I was referred to Electron Automotive about 4 months back by a friend to get a routine oil change, as well as replenishing brake fluid in my car, and to check out why my car struggled to turn on sometimes.
I was really impressed when I met the mechanic. He looked very professional and experienced. There were two mechanics in the shop, Chis and Kerry (resident mechanic). They were very friendly and willing to explain what was going on with my car and didn’t just give me the price and tell me to come back later.
I was in and out within 25 min, much less wait time than an EZ Lube or other places. Price was more than fair, I think I paid about 40 – 50 dollars for everything. I was VERY happy about the price!!!
The shop was clean, it even had a seating area with big couches and the mechanic, Chris, welcomed the other customers to help themselves to water bottles, Gatorade and snacks free of charge.
I think there is a burrito place across the street if you really want food though.
Overall I had an amazing experience, I left feeling like I was given a fair deal and most of all I left feeling like he actually cared about my car and its longevity in the future. I would definitely go back again!

Chris is great! Saw that he had all positive reviews so I decided it was worth a try and he was truly amazing and helped fixed my Honda for an awesome price :) thank you I will be back again!
