Del Taco

This del taco is a good one. they seem to get your order right. the food is hot.

I don’t really like to write bad reviews but this location gave me no choice. I always give large chains a chance by I was really disappointed with the customer service. The food was ok but the management really needs some work. They really made me and my family feel like we were a burden when ordering our food. Lady really was pushing is and told is to hurry. What made the situation a little more distasteful is when my son went up to ask for a restroom coin. He asked the gentlemen, who I believe was the manage, for a coin. The manager looked away and handed him the coin. I was behind my son when all this happen. My son turned around and asked me when the restroom was. Since i didn’t see a sign I asked my son to ask the gentlemen for location of the restroom. My son turned ask where the restroom was and re responded «out to your left.» Since there was two doors my son asked «which door?» And that is when the man responded with to out whichever you would like and walked away.

DO NOT EAT AT THIS DEL TACO!!! If i could give 0 or –0 stars i would. There was 3 spots of BLOOD inside my crunchtada box. I didn’t see it at first because there was a pile of cheese cover it up. We called them to complain and the manager Maria at first put us on hold to take another order without telling us we were on hold and when she decided to return to the phone call, we told her there was blood inside the box she hung up on us and now will not answer the phone. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

This was my breakfast spot about 10 times a month. The past few weeks have been complete garbage. What put the icing on the cake for me was this morning. Drove up to the speaker and bam I get hit with a sprinkler keep in mind my window was down to order so the inside of my truck gets soaked. So I back up a little and order my breakfiesta. Get to the window I simply ask for a few napkins to wipe down the inside of my truck and told him the sprinkler at the speaker got me and the inside of my truck got wet. All he said was o. So I get my food and drive off pull one of the burritos out and it’s tiny all that was in it was cheese and hot sauce! So now I’m thinking to myself well this sucks. So I wait to get to work to see the other one well this one wasn’t to bad it atleast had a little bit of eggs in it but still tiny. All in all I won’t be returning. Good thing there is another del taco across the street. I had to go to the other one a few times because they said that they are closing the register and not excepting cards. The pictures I’m going to post is of the second burrito and the left over water that I missed when I was wiping down the inside of my truck. O and of course I didn’t get a recipe. If I did I would of called the 1800 number and left a great review.

Tuesdays and Thursdays I have been hitting up this Del Taco. Its usually quiet inside and the food comes out quick and fresh. Its located next to an In N Out and Chick Filet so I think that keeps the traffic down. No complaints at this location, looking forward to more Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays. :-)

I’m unhappy every time I order fries u guys don’t put ketchup after u ask me what I want I had to eat my fries dry how hard is it to put ketchup in a bag

This Del Taco is in a busy section of town. Easy to get to.
Friendly service and never too busy. The food comes out really fast.
I’ve had their hard shell tacos and chicken soft tacos here before. Also had their milkshakes. Good overall. It’s quick and easy fast food.
One thing is that if you eat too much of this stuff, you get really sick of it fast.

+I’ve had Chicken Tacos from Del Taco many times before. Just not from this location.
+Got mild food poisoning or something this time.
+Started aching all over and felt fatigued. Had the sh*ts, but not that bad.
+The food may have been cheap, but I paid for it in the end. No pun intended.

What do I love about this Del Taco?
That from it, one can see another Del Taco (the one around the corner from Darren’s house), opening within the realm of possibilities a Best-​in-​Show-​like romance wherein one party would go to one Del Taco for lunch and spot the object of his or her affections going to the other Del Taco for lunch, and then the next time going to the other Del Taco for lunch in hopes of effecting a «chance meeting,» while the other did the very same, such that they ended up at opposite Del Tacos, until finally they arrived at the same Del Taco, this Del Taco, and began their fated romance over, say, a shared boat of Deluxe Chili Cheese Fries and Spicy Jack Chicken Quesadilla.

Wow can fast food really be this good? Given, as far as fast food goes, I’m kind of partial to del anyway. However here you get, dare I say a superior experience?
Friendly and energetic service.
Food was hot, fresh, surprisingly well made and tasty.
My macho combo burrito was literally ready in less than 2 minutes.

Fish taacooooooooooo

Its not my favorite Irvine location but it’ll do! I’ve noticed they started putting baskets of sauce at each table for you so you don’t have to keep getting up and stealing them! It’s very clean and I love the soda machine that has me staring in a daze! My food is fresh and they get it right majority of the time ^_^

man i just had the worst experience here most of the time its cool but today’s general Manager (is as lame as they come) they spit in my chicken sort taco and when i called him out on it he snatched it from my hand actually slamming my hand in the table it kinda hurt it sucks cause i go there almost every day the guys name was Jaime fat man just mad cause he cant read free chicken soft taco on survey that’s no reason to spit in my food !!!

How funny that there are two Dell taco’s within two blocks away from each other, however I find this one to be More comfortable as well as the staff is always pleasant and friendly.

I LOVE Del Taco! Usually…
They would get 5 stars, but they have consistency issues… 75% of the time, the food is great, every thing is hot and fresh and delicious, just the way I ordered it. But the 25% is the problem. Now, I know restaurants will never be perfect 100% of the time, I have family in the restaurant business, hence you’ll never see a review of Hofs Hut or Lucille’s BBQ per Unilocal rules about association, but that’s beside the point. The point is, 25% is too much failure. Like tonight, for example, the food was cold by the time I got home (I live 4 minutes away), and the quesadilla in the quesadilla and tacos meal didn’t have the little pepper’s, nor was the cheese melted much, only a little around the edges… This isn’t the first time this has happened… Also, the meat in the taco’s was cold :(On the plus side, they have good soft drinks, and they’re generous with salsa :)

we came here everyday after school while i was in high school. this location basically helped raise me and my friends. the food is obviously awesome (who doesn’t love del?), but i love this place more for the memories it helped make.

I grew up around the corner from this Del Taco. It’s great for lunch and great when I’m drunk at 2am. It is right next to In N Out, which is always popular, but this hidden Del Taco rarely has a line. Ironically, across the street is another Del Taco, but the drive through is hectic and the venue is smaller. That is why I like this Del Taco.
Except on Sunday, I went to order lunch for me and my mom. I went through the drive thru and spoke to the drive thru attendant:
Cashier: «Hi would you like to try the _​_​_​bowl today?»
Me: «No, thanks.»
Cashier: ******silence for 20 seconds*********
Me: «I’ll have a number four with a Diet Coke and a fish taco.»
Cashier: «A number four with a Cherry Coke.»
Me: «No, Diet Coke.»
Cashier: «Right, a Cherry Coke.»
Me: «No, DIET Coke.»
Cashier: «A Cherry Coke?»
Me: «DIET. Coke.»
Cashier: «Oh a Diet Coke?»
Me: «Yes.»
Cashier: «Would you like a medium or macho?»
Me: «Medium. And the fish taco.»
Cashier: «And a shrimp taco?»
Me: «A fish taco.»
Cashier: «Right, a shrimp taco?»
Me: «FISH!»
Cashier: «Oh, fish. Okay pull up to the next window.»
Inevitably, what did I receive? A number four with a Cherry Coke and a shrimp taco. Tip: Order in person, not the drive thru!
