If I could rate zero stars I would. We were referred here by my sons pediatrician and it took forever to get an appointment. When we finally got there we ended up waiting in the little room for OVER an hour and half! This is no easy thing 6 months pregnant and with a toddler boy. When Dr McAleer finally came in she spent maybe 10 minutes with us and simply looked at my son and that was it. I received a bill from the hospital for $ 245, which I felt was high. But then received another bill for $ 425 from Dr McAleer. Basically we are almost $ 700 in the hole for a 10 min visit and an hour and a half wait. And we have great insurance! If you are a young family or don’t have a ton of extra income to give away, I suggest finding a different Doctor. I’ve never had such a bad and frustrating experience as we had here.

People are nice but they over book constantly. Be prepared to wait a minimum of 45min after your scheduled time. Greed is BAD at the expense of children.

I couldn’t be more happy with Choc’s Urology dept. my son had his first appointment two months ago. He went in to see Dr. Wehbi. Dr. Wehbi was great! He was kind and very informative. He just had his in-patient surgery last week and the staff was wonderful. They did everything to make him feel comfortable. Because of the staff his fear of the surgery went away. They were so patient with him and catered to all his need… Even bringing a wii into his room. His surgery was a success and went quicker than expected. There were no complications and he recovered quickly and was back to his normal self in no time all thanks to Dr. Wehbi and his fabulous staff.

I’m really disappointed with this office. My initial visit was fine. We saw Dr. McAleer for my son. She seemed knowledgeable. My son has a condition that is going to take awhile to correct with surgeries. I have called the office multiple times to speak to a nurse or the Dr. to follow up after a test he had done that was unsuccessful. I had his birth records sent over that contained a lot of information regarding testing he had done in the hospital when I had him that Dr. McAleer wanted to review. I also needed to find out when we were going to schedule his first surgery. My first attempt no one returned my call. Ok maybe it was a fluke. I called again a week later and spoke to a nurse who assured me that she would speak to the Dr. and ask her all the questions I had asked and return my call by the end of the day. I didn’t hear back. I waited an extra day thinking maybe she got busy which I can understand happens, but still she never returned my call. I am very disappointed. This is a scary thing to deal with and I feel that my son and business in this office is completely unimportant to them. My current pediatrician recommended me to a different pediatric urologist that I am now going to see in September. Also, be sure to read the small print when filling out all the paperwork on your first visit. I have great insurance and I was hit with not only one but TWO separate bills after we had paid my copay. One for CHOC hospital fee which is separate from the visit itself but you get charged for every visit also a bill from UCI because Dr. McAleer is contracted out through them. These two bills added up to almost $ 500. CRAZY for a simple 20 min initial visit. Needless to say WEWILLNOTBEBACK!

Will not be back to this practice after disappointing in-patient treatment at CHOC Hospital. The team didn’t listen to me or my daughter regarding her symptoms or pain. I still can’t believe they discharged her after several days without resolving the problem. Sadly, she was transferred to CHOC so she could access the«specialty care from this practice». She ended up needing a second emergency surgery(which was performed by another surgeon at a different hospital).

Can’t really comment on the doctor because I’ve been waiting in the office for 90 minutes for her to see my 19 month old. We were«next» 30 minutes ago.

Was seen by Dr. Mclorie Gordon he was so rude and unfriendly. I waited 3 months to see him and as a mother we have lots of questions and concerns. He made me feel as it was my fault my child had issues. Gave me no hope. It seemed as he was bothered to be at work. He gave me alternatives that’ he doesn’t really recommend his exact words. I honestly felt as I was seen by any unprofessional person in the streets. I Wouldn’t refer him to nobody. Bad experience !!! Zero stars
