I wouldn’t even bother contacting this caterer.
Audrey and I spoke on the phone about a baby shower I am throwing. She emailed me a list of menus (in the zip file was a letter addressed to someone else, but I let that go). They had some neat options so I wrote her back within the hour with my choices asking for a detailed proposal. I was really leaning towards booking with them.
2 days later, no response. I called and left a message. 2 more days and no response. I emailed telling her that if I didn’t hear from her in 2 days I would assume she wasn’t interested in my business.
She wrote back to me right away saying she never got a response from me? I gave her the benefit of the doubt and again asked for a proposal. We went back and forth for a few hours about my choices, when a few hours later she wrote me this:
«The more we are thinking about it, quite honestly, we are about to go on vacation on Mon. morning and will unavailable for the remainder of the week. It might be better if you seek out another catered for this event. I would be happy to pass your name and number on to what I think would be acceptable. Just let me know by tomorrow, please.»
By the way, my shower isn’t for 2 months, so why she couldn’t give it to me then, I don’t know. Thanks for the lie Audrey. Apparently she just doesn’t want business, so Unilocalers I wouldn’t give it to her.

I had them cater my wedding and it wasn’t the best experience i’ve had with a caterer.
I was going over the quote she had given me and my husband and i emailed her back saying that i will get back to her the next day, by 11am. Well it was passed 11am before i could talk to her due to an emergency that came up, and i recieved and email stating «NO CONTACT.» I called her as soon as i could and she was a little annoyed because i didn’t stay on the scheduled time that i told her i would contact her by. I still went with her because i figured that was just her personality and she probably gets a lot of flakey people.
When my husband and i met up with Audrey and her son at our reception venue, we were glad the son came along. She didn’t really know what she was doing and was confused on how we wanted things set up. It really made me concerned because she should’ve paid more attention. It got to the point that we didn’t talk to her, we just talked to her son.
She sent us a new quote for everything and was asking for a deposit. That was fine, but the new quote she gave us was wrong. She redid the quote and the next one came out wrong. By the 3^rd quote she gave us, it was finally right, but didn’t make us feel at ease. We were going to find someone else, but it was only 2 weeks away from our wedding.
Wedding day came and the reason why i gave the her 2 stars was because of the «potatoe martini’s» were a hit. I was really busy with guest that i didn’t have that much time to eat anything. I figured that i would just eat later because i know were going to have left overs. Well when they were packing up i didn’t see any food left behind. I had one of my girlfriends ask where the food was because i was busy. Audrey and her crew left and so did my friend. I realized after they left i still didn’t get an answer, so i called my friend and she said that there were no left overs because «all the food was spoiled» I was really upset with that.
We gave told her 80 people were attending and i would say 55 – 60 people showed up. So how can all that left over food spoil? She even threw away the fruit bowl. Also, we told her that we have a fridge for all the left overs to go into. Basically i think $ 3000 went down the drain! Very disappointed. I would not recommend them to anyone.

These are the nicest people you will ever meet in the business. They are very accomodating and just down to earth genuine people. Her and her husband were the sweetest people ever. I am glad that I met them and it was a pleasure. Though I went a different route for my event the experience was wonderful. Thank you Audrey and Shel for taking the time to meet with us.

Audrey’s Edibles is still the best catering company in Orange County, for the price.
At a recent event held in Orange County, they were serving Lobster Crepes among the many delicacies they offered; they make these incredible asian shrimp rolls, quiches, salads, and desserts! Steven and David Edelstein were the chefs du jour, as they were giving Audrey a well-​deserved day off (it was her birthday).
