Paramus Plumbing

I don’t know what all the hype is about, Brett the owner showed up at my house gave me an estimate for my furnace for $ 8000. So I researched the furnace online and it was only $ 700. This man is a con artist, and is ripping innocent people off. I call another company and it end up being a $ 75 part, so my furnace didn’t need to be replaced. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Worst customer service I have ever seen Brett the owner is rude and arrogant. So I had a leak under my toilet he came out to my house 4 times and the pipe is still leaking. I called Paramus plumbing again and they refuse to come out and fix the problem without another payment being made. It’s one excuse after another

My boiler died out a few days before a big snowstorm. I got a few estimates and decided to go with Paramus Plumbing. The guys at Paramus Plumbing, especially Mark, did an extraordinary job. Timely, professional, skilled, clean, etc.
Poor servicing After the great initial service. Heating was not efficient in Winter. Situation was not addressed by company despite requests.

BELIEVE THE HYPE. These guys are awesome. Woke up with no heat this morning and its freezing outside. Called them first thing in the morning and all of Brett’s guys were on jobs. I’ve got a 2 year old and a 4 year old and had to get them out of the house because it was so cold. He understood my situation, told me all of the preventative measures to take in the meantime and he went out of his way to send Mark out to do a diagnosis (although he was on another job 20 minutes away). Mark got here earlier than they even estimated and diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes. Problem was, we had ADT here yesterday installing our alarm system and they must have flipped the switch off that controlled the boiler (we just moved here and was unaware this wall switch in the basement operated the boiler… I know stupid me). Anyway, I was all ready to write the check out for the service call, but Mark refused to charge me. I’m a business owner and have dealt with a lot of different contractors over the years for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire… you name it. I don’t know of any company that would operate with such honesty and not take the money. If I could give these guys 6 stars, I would. I’ll be sure to call up Paramus Plumbing next time I have an actual problem. Thanks guys!

Had a clogged up basement slop sink that needed a quick cleanout. Called Paramus Plumbing and they were over in an hour to fix the situation. No hassle, no drama and the job was done well.

There are not enough good words and stars to be said for Paramus Plumbing, and to Brett and his team.
I called Paramus Plumbing when we realized that the house we moved into at the end of August had wired up the furnace to seem as if it was turning on (to pass inspection), however it was actually broken — and in the room my two young children slept, it was getting increasingly cold.
Brett came and diagnosed the issue on a Monday night — at about 7:30 pm after he had already been working all day — and then over the course of Monday night through Wednesday night (as more and more problems became evident) Brett spent about 10 hours and got the furnace fixed and basically re-​wired as new — he came to my house 3 days in a row, after a long day (not to mention spending the days in between on the phone trying to get the right parts for the repair) — so that my kids would be warm in their room.
Brett was incredibly knowledgeable, went over and above out of his way to finish my job quickly, and was personalble on top of it all.
Not only would I recommend him, I ended up hiring Paramus Plumbing again a few days later to replace my hot water heater. This time Mark did the installation, and again, was knowledgeable, educated me on the issue and installed the new heater within ½ a day.
These guys are the only HVAC and plumbers I will ever use again.

As many others have said — Brett is great! Came to the house last night to see our problem and was back today with the right parts to fix it. Explains the problems and the fix and is willing to show you how to do it. And the best part — great price! Great service, great result and great price! Brett is definitely the one for us to call on any and all future plumbing issues!

Brett’s great and I highly recommend him. He’s really friendly, professional, and a talented plumber. He came by after hours to fix my furnace. He knew right away what the problem was and fixed it super fast. His pricing was also really reasonable. I will definitely call him again.

Brett is a great HVAC contractor. Very happy with his service. He even diagnosed why our gas fireplace wouldn’t start and ordered the part to fix it. Highly recommend you use him.

Omg what a great plumber Brett is! He is honest, reliable and his work is amazing! We’re in the middle of a kitchen renovation and needed pipes to be moved and Brett came through as usual. After using him a few times, I won’t use anyone else. He gets 5+ stars from me!

Brett was wonderful. He was on time, was able to fix a complicated problem and got it done over a weekend in an emergency. My business can now open Monday morning and my staff can go back to work unaffected with air conditioning on a 90 degree day. Thanks Brett! I would highly recommend him.

Plumbing is one profession that seems to have more than its share of either incompetent or unscrupulous or outrageously expensive (or all three together) kind of people. I have had many bad personal experiences.
So, how wonderfully refreshing it was to meet Brett of Paramus Plumbing. Everything you read in the other 5 Star reviews is absolutely true. In fact, it was the Unilocal reviews that guided me to him in the first place.
He picked up the phone himself (no answering service) came over promptly, was neat, clean, respectful, pleasant and most knowledgeable. He did his work efficiently and cleanly without leaving a mess behind. And then he pulled out his iPad, entered all the info and emailed an invoice to me immediately. His total charge was fair and appropriate.
What more can one ask?

I promised myself from the 1^st visit that I would write a review but I tend to forget so after today’s visit I had to do it. The experience of Paramus Plumbing is impeccable. Today’s visit was the kitchen sink, the pipe rotted away from old galvanized piping.
The work these men perform are amazing and I’m not saying that because they are cool guys; they are down to earth and you can see they have the passion for their plumbing profession. In my field of work; customer service is everything and I can see it can affect any field and most importantly how well and great you do in your work field. I’m in pure awe. These guys are swift yet precise. They check everything and eye everything out. If they see something suspicious; they will tell you and let you know, what your options are and go from there. VERY easy to work with, very thorough on their work, these men hustle, and their work is top notch.
The last few plumbers we have dealt with seemed okay but you can see the difference with Paramus Plumbing.

Holy S&!# — Is all I can say. What a terrible day — really just awful. My neighbor flushed — my toilet overflowed. We flushed my toilet overflowed. It’s as if it had a mind all its own — I mean — IT WAS GROSS!

Very glad and happy I chose Paramus plumbing. I had a water heater that flooded my basement around midnight and Brett picked up even when it was very late. He was able to come first thing in the morning and was very honest and did an awesome job with the new installation of the water heater. I will definitely be using this company for any future plumbing work and recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

Paramua Plumming and heating are the best! The pipe under our kitchen sink was leaking and we where having a problem with instant hot as well. Brett fixed it in to time and we have NEVER had a nother problem with either.

Gave me an estimate for a house I’m looking to buy that even the seller couldn’t refute (hallelujah!) Professional, personable, and affordable — the trifecta of good customer service (which unlike plumbing is something I do know about.) What more could you ask for?

Brett made a house call on a rainy Friday night to take a look at a steam boiler issue… let me tell you, this guy is the shining example of great customer service and overall professionalism.
