I love this place. As someone who grew up drinking Starbucks (read big city transplant) it was nice to find somewhere local that made great coffee. I usually go 2 times a week with friends. We take over a table and whats nice is it is set up that even with others in there we can still hear each other talking. There are a variety of different coffee drinks and if you become a regular they are pretty good at remembering what you like, since he always remembers I want soy milk and you don’t get that kind of service at a big chain coffee place. They do have breakfast food (pastries/bagels, etc) that they will toast/warm up for you which is really nice.

I’m not a big fan of Starbuck’s so I try to find smaller cafes. A.K.‘s serves your standard Seattles Best coffee. It is always fresh, never burnt.
Their cakes are very good and the service is very friendly and it is always peaceful inside.
