I’ve known the people at UC for several years, and although I didn’t do my private pilot license with them, Augusto Marin did help me out one flight with my short field landings. Where my instructor couldn’t get through to me, Augusto in a scant 50 min flight and barely 5 or 6 touch and gos had me nailing the short fields.
I also did a few flights with them where I recorded video from inside the cabin and also taken pictures of some of the jets that are stationed in the hangar. They’re all around awesome guys, down to earth, are very strict with the aircraft maintenance, and won’t charge you an arm and a leg. If you’re looking to get your licenses, this is the best bang for your buck with awesome instructors.
