OMG! So good and so reasonable! You will not be disappointed. You get a lot of food! I have been eating on this food all day. If there’s a line when you go WAIT! It’s worth the wait. Was my first time and it’s not my last.

First time and the food was SO good. The pigeon peas and rice was so good. I had the oxtails, with rice, greens/cabbage mix, and mac n cheese. Also tried the cake too. No complaints at all. Will go back again.

Nat’s Catering… real soul food. Just like home. Price is unbelievably cheap. Is it just me whom feels like you’re getting over on them with all the food they give you? I echo what Travis, Joy and Jimmy said in their reviews about Nat’s. It’s good eating. You can literally eat for a couple of days on just one dinner. So, yeah if you’re in the mood for good soul food, don’t mind waiting in line, or the commute then Nats is a good go to choice. It’s worth all of that and more. Yep, I said it and I co-sign for Nats! Somebody taught them well in the kitchen. You can clearly tell they were not playing street ball and running to the side off the street to cool off their feet in the grass when they were younger. They were clearly in the kitchen watching and learning.

Oh Jesus here we go. This is one of those places you should only eat from once in a while, now the food is not only good but it’s DAMNGOOD. It’s the really bad for your heart good, but oh man is it good for your soul. This is some real deal soul food. I’m talking about good Mac and cheese, good sweet potatoes, good dressing, and some really good yellow rice(and I’m not a fan of rice). I only get the ribs and they are amazing. The portions are ridiculous and the price is wonderful. On average I pay about $ 13 for a container stuffed with food to last me an entire day. The sweets are delish and the little portion of cornbread is not enough so ask for more because it’s that good. The ladies who work their are so nice especially the First Lady you meet with the short hair, she just gives off that sweet aunty vibe, like you wanna do good in school for this woman! Lol now we did drive around the block four times to find this place, it is hidden waaaaaayyyyyy in the back past an auto mechanic shop with no sign of direction. And it’s not one of those sit down kind of places it’s literally a garage door that is open with a giant metal fan inside that blows nothing but hot air, but this to go only food is well worth the drive from Miami beach. The only warning I will give is that if you decided to have the tasty Nat’s please allow yourself the rest of the day to do nothing but sleep. This food literally knocks me out cold every time. It is the scariest thing I have ever experienced, I remember my first time eating Nat’s and tryn to wake up from my coma, and not being successful. Now I just go with flow and accept the deep sleep.

Baby when I tell you this place is Awesome… believe it! The food is great. I tried to finish a plate one day and ended up in a food induced coma, which means it was just THAT good. I love coming here but I hate the lines. They try to getcha end and out, so know what you’re ordering. That pigeon peas and rice tho… AWESOME! 5STARS

Nat’s excels! I have been eating out of Ms. Brown’s kitchen since the restaurant opened in the late seventies on 65 street. I loved her food so much that she catered my wedding. It’s hard to find consistently good down home southern food in Miami but finding Nat’s is well worth the effort.

When I think of Nat’s, the only word that comes to mind is «MMMMMMM!!!» I don’t need a fine dining experience everytime. Sometimes, I want to just get my food & go home. And when that occasion hits, it’s Nat’s that comes to the rescue! Nat’s is located in a warehouse but don’t let looks fool you — there is some serious cooking going on up in here! Down home soul food from your favorite grandmama’s kitchen! You may not even be able to find your ribs, this food will stick to them like glue! My favorite is their turkey wings, dressing and mac&cheese. The turkey wings are fork-tender and seasoned to Southern perfection. Moist & savory dressing(stuffing) with a side of some of the best mac&cheese in the South deliciously complement the meal. Their dinners are massive. King Kong might even have a hard time getting through them. You get a meat(usually chicken, oxtails, meatloaf or ribs) and three oversized side orders(their yams are homemade and oh so good without being too sweet; mixed greens of cabbage and collards seasoned with a smoked meat; field peas or okra & tomatoes cooked just like old times; white, yellow or pigeon peas & rice round everything out). Also included are a corn muffin and the tiniest little piece of cake that is soooo good as an end to the meal! Mmmm! Slices of homemade cakes & pudding are on sale as well. Yes, it’s hot as I don’t know what in that place but if you go at the right time, you won’t be in line for long. The lines are longest around lunchtime on Saturdays and Sundays. Just don’t even go after 1:00pm on a Sunday. The line is too crazy long & standing in the sun is not what you want to be doing on a hot day. And keep your ticket in your hand, btw. That’s how they’ll know what dinner you ordered. Other than the food, my favorite thing about Nat’s is the price! I think oxtails are the most expensive thing on the menu & with a price of $ 13.95, 3 meals out of one plate — it’s so worth it! People don’t cook like they used to and everybody who says they can cook, may not be able to cook at all. But if you like soul food, when I tell you Nat’s is it?! Nat’s is IT! P. S. Travis H. and Vicky A. tried to tell me about this place and it took me forever to get there. I’ll never wait so long off good recommendations again!

Me and my big daddy have been coming here for about I want to say three yrs now. Its located in Opa Locka at a warehouse in the cut. You wouldn’t even know it was there. Man the first time I tasted there scrupulous food I was hooked and they give you a great size plate. Till this day we still go and now where even closer to it its my mans favorite place for a quick fixin of some soul food.

My all time favorite soul food eatery, now open on Sundays. Located in an Opa Locka warehouse, this catering company sales take out to the general public on Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Each meal comes with a meat, 3 sides, corn bread muffin and a small slice of cake. I love the barbecued turkey wings. But they also sell baked turkey wings, barbecued ribs, oxtails, and baked chicken(there are additional meats on certain days). Sides include dressing, MAC and cheese, mixed greens(cabbage and collards), potato salad, green beans, peas and okra, candied yams and rice. You can order a small or large plate. Prices range from $ 6 to $ 11. This is by far the best cooking for sale in North Dade. You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been coming here since 2008 and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. Miami has plenty restaurants that claim that they sell soul food… but this is TRULYTHEONLYPLACETHATHASGOODSOULFOOD!!!
