The place has plenty of parking and my order only took minutes to come out. I ordered the steak and rice with Mac n cheese. I also had a pan of garlic crabs for my mom and sister. I also had a flop to drink. I called back for a extra side of Mac n cheese for my kids. It was really cheesy and had a good taste to it which made it feel home made. The steak was well seasoned and so was the crab rice. The crabs were full of garlic and juice for re dipping. I didn’t even ask for extra butter. I recommend this spot for a Friday night along with beer and friends.

This place is located on Opa-locka Blvd in a strip mall, it’s a small business so don’t expect to come in and sit down(good for take out only). I ordered the fish dinner(2 fried tilapia, Mac & cheese, crab rice, & corn). The food was very well seasoned. However it seemed as if they gave me a scoop of rice and spread it across. The Mac & cheese is a hit and miss. No consistency in the Mac so order something else for a side. The Mac had shredded cheese on top(not melted) which was weird nothing like Instagram or Facebook, but definitely not a deal breaker. I would return again for a third time.

We vacationed in Miami for New Years. My husband was insistent that we find a place that is comparable to Nancy’s in Savannah, GA. So we searched Unilocal and came across Crabman305. Not being from Miami we had no idea this place was in the hood nor that it was black owned. All pluses but if you are afraid of driving to an unknown area, just know this place is in the hood. Nothing to be afraid of, just an FYI. We drive up and immediately was wondering if we made a good decision. The location and the look doesn’t exactly say«we got good food.» Hey, but in reality what does that look like? Anyway, our first trip to Crabman was on Thursday NYE2015. The place wasn’t overly crowded. We approached the counter and inquired about garlic crabs. The tall gentleman behind the counter gave us a flyer with the menu on it. I’m shocked because I know we said we not from here but anyway we didn’t allow that to deter us. Just know, the guy taking your order isn’t the friendliest person. We ordered the lobster dinner with Mac n cheese and their infamous crab rice. Let me just say EVERYTHING was fresh and hot and seasoned. The crabs were full and tasty. The Mac n cheese is homemade. There isn’t anything process about the Mac n cheese. Now the crab rice was, umm, good but it wasn’t our favorite. Something was missing but I couldn’t figure out what; however, it is tasty. We went back everyday until we left on Sunday. We actually made a pit stop on our way out on Sunday to get the fried lobster, some Mac n cheese and more of the red velvet cake. They didn’t have the red one but had blue velvet cake which is just as good. I recommend you try this place especially if you love seafood. The portions are plenty for the price. Make sure you try the Mac n cheese and get dessert. This is a take out only place. They have a high table out front you can stand at and eat but mostly, you will have to go home or some where else to eat your food. I’m giving it four stars because I think the front staff could use some customer training. They are the face of this business and their impersonal skills could keep folks from coming back. Oh, we meet the owner and he was very nice. Talked to each and took pictures.

Not for the faint of heart when it comes to location. In my opinion I would advise to come with someone, or even a group. But aside from that, this little walk-In/take out spot in the hood has the best seafood in hefty sized portions at great prices. Place your order and wait for them to cook up your deliciousness. I suggest their fried shrimp, crab legs and broiled lobster. For sides, try their Mac and cheese and most especially their infamous ‘Crab Rice’. You won’t regret it.

Food was really good. The gentleman at the register could’ve been a little more helpful to out of towners that weren’t familiar with the menu. If someone is asking for details on an item your response shouldn’t be «it say it right there»! Other than Mr Sponge Bob Moody Pants we enjoyed our food and we’ll actually return on our next trip to the area!

Alright, so I give it four stars… It satisfied my fried food craving better than any other place in the area. I didn’t expect much because typically, you get good food… NOTHINGMORE, NOTHINGLESS! DONOT go into this place expecting to be seated because it’s a TAKEOUT spot. Their prices are reasonable and the food is good. As far as consistency… I don’t know. All I can say is the fish was great and so was the conch. Customer service wasn’t bad… it was as to be expected. I asked a few questions and the guy behind the counter answered. I didn’t get a rude vibe from him at all. My food was ready in a timely manner and they added plenty of condiments to the bag to accompany my meal. I ordered a side of mac and cheese. It was the real deal instead of Kraft with other cheese melted in. Tasted pretty good to me and the conch was tender and seasoned well. My co worker loved his fish. He had snapper and it was split, fileted with the tail on. I didn’t get to take a pic though. One thing though… the food may be a bit over salted. After eating, I needed tons of water. But you can ask for less salt because my co worker says she asks for low sodium all the time. This place is on a one way street in a not-so-great area but don’t let that deter you. Stop by CrabMan 305… I think you will like it.

Was told this spot was a place to try. ordered fried shrimp and steamed lobster with crab rice. A lil pricey but to be expected for seafood. I have to agree with other Unilocalers it is a lil bland for my taste buds. Tip: call in your order to save some wait time. Buttercream cake very good. I give this place a 7 on a scale of 1 out of 10.

Last night my fiends and I decided to go to crabman 305 and I was a little disappointed my food had no flavor. My garlic crab didn’t taste like garlic and my lobster was not very tasty at all. Now I’ve had there food before and I know that last night was just an off night or I at least pray that it was. Next time I’ll taste my food while I’m there. Because for $ 30 I was not happy.

I have to admit this place doesn’t live up to the hype. Food is tasty but it’s not great, we came during lunch time and I had the lunch special wings and fries, broccoli and conch. Now I really love wings it’s hard to give a bad review for wings but they really had no flavor they needed some lemon pepper seasoning at least but nothing, the fries tasted like seafood seasoning which for me it’s odd and they weren’t fresh and the broccoli was boiled FYI veggies should always be steamed if not it loses its properties, taste funny and the texture is just off I don’t want soggy broccoli. The best was the conch it had the best flavor and the blue velvet cake was really moist these 2 are a must if you decide to try them out. To add about the customer service, the tall behind the counter does lack customer service qualities. He doesn’t ask if you want any additional sauce if there’s anything else that we need(ie. To drink) … He just comes off rude. It doesn’t hurt to smile sir. Just saying. From reading the reviews I realized it’s a hit or miss with them. Honestly don’t think I’ll go back for the wings but for sure I’ll give the conch another try.

I was über pressed to go this spot. I am a seafood lover and the crabman pics on instagram make me drool lol. So I knew this was definitely a go-to-spot when I was in the area. Be prepared to wait for your food because it is fresh. The fried conch was a definite stand out so delicious and the lobster was fried to perfection. The bf got the fried crab legs meh somethings don’t need to be fried.(next time getting them with butter and garlic) He loved the chicken wings. In addition the other standouts was the macaroni and cheese and crab rice. I will definitely go back if I am in the area.

Tried to place an order over the phone. The guy clearly said he has too many customers in front of him to take my order. He said I need to call back. That is the absolute WORST customer service. If it’s a TAKEOUT type of restaurant maybe try hiring people to take orders OVER the phone only. No food is worth bad service!!! When there’s better service with much better attitude maybe I’ll try again. You will loose business with these types of attitudes.

Food was amazing. I had the crab legs with crab rice. The owner and staff are not very friendly. I walked up all excited like yes I am here. Owner only spoke to me because I said I have been watching on ig. He was very dry and unfriendly. At first the guys where all checking me out but when they notice I had a man, attitude got dry. I will be coming back because the food was that good. If you are expecting to be treated like you are at a fine dinning place, don’t. I am looking forward to the day our people treat each other with a little more love and not like we are enemies.

Crabman 305 has changed my life. Not really, but the food is insanely good. The ½ conch with crab rice is absolutely amazing, and the portion is MASSIVE. I’m a fairly big guy, with a more than decent appetite, but I could only finish half of this behemoth portion of fried fruit of the Atlantic. The wings and fries. Where to start with these. The fries are seasoned with what I assume was a recipe given to the owner by Saint Lawrence, the patron saint of cooks. There is no way that a mere mortal developed this seasoning. The wings are cooked PERFECTLY. Not greasy, not soggy, not so overfried that you chip a tooth on the breading. Just crispy and perfect, with some seasoning mixed into the breading. The shrimp was incredible. Again, I have no idea as to what it’s cooked or seasoned with, all I know is that it’s delicious. The crab is of such quality that I genuinely fear for the safety of the staff should Jameis Winston ever come to town. The service can be a bit slow, but that is by no means exclusive to this place. And the quality of the food makes up for it. You can absolutely tell that it was cooked when you order it, so I see the slight wait as a positive. The seafood cooked here is so good that Neptune himself is probably weeping in a corner somewhere. Do not bother with anywhere else, stop and eat here.

I hate that I have to give them only three stars. I am from Northern California and we have lots of crabs spots. So in all honesty I am doing a bit of comparing… But I’m comparing them to a very similar establishment. I’ve been watching them on Instagram for some time now so I knew I wanted to try it out when I made it to Florida. My husband and I ordered the crab, shrimp, and lobster combo. The lobster was my favorite with the shrimp as runner up. The garlic butter… although it looked appealing left a lot to be desired. I added salt which is usually not required with seafood. I’m used to sweet corn so the corn came off as very bland although it was in their garlic butter sauce. The potatoes were pretty good… Although I also added salt and pepper to those as well. The mac n cheese also looked delicious… Always has on Instagram which is why I made sure to order some and it was not good at all. It was a big bland blob of noodles with cheese on top. Maybe because it was the end of the day… I really don’t know. There is no dine in which I knew gong in so I really didn’t care. We paid $ 90 for our 2 plates and a side of mac n cheese and drinks. Pricey in my opinion since its take out. The prices are comparable to Benihana’s. It made me wish I’d gone to Benihana’s unfortunately. I feel really bad because i had many high hopes after seeing their pictures on Instagram. Honestly 3 stars may be a little too high but I don’t want to deter anyone from going. I think it’s worth a try. Their tea and lemonade mix was tasty.

Best seafood I’ve ever had! Everything is delicious but my favorites is the lobster and shrimp with the crab rice and the Mac and cheese. Portions are big enough for 2 people but there’s nothing like crabman305 leftovers.

My best friend humored my request to visit crab man 305(I’ve only been bugging her for over a year) we got there about 7pm on a Sunday evening which might explain the lack of options on the menu. I tried calling in my order but I suppose the fellow who picked up had a line and was annoyed by my indecisiveness. I expected more. I loved the Fried Conch. I loved the grill shrimp. However the grilled lobster tail left much to be desired. Crab rice was lacking.

So I dropped in for lunch at about 1-ish in the afternoon. There were a few people waiting for orders they placed already and the cashier was on the phone taking an order when I walked in. He acknowledged me(thank goodness), and he wrapped up the call quickly and took my order. I ordered a large crab combo and ¼ conch. I waited for about 15 minutes and got my takeout and headed home. The conch didn’t make it past the parking lot and I opened it and it was crispy and delicious. The garlic crab came with sides of potatoes and corn. I loved that too! I had left overs for both and probably could have fed two people with the large crab. I will definitely be back!

So from the hype of Instagram I caved in and thought I’d give this place a shot. Other reviews have mentioned cold greeting from the employees, I guess I caught them on a good day because everyone was extremely friendly and pleasant. I ordered the small snow crab dinner which came with crab rice and two sides, I chose potatoes and mac and cheese all totaling $ 21. A well worth $ 21 if I must say so myself! I could have shared… But I didn’t! Something that sucks that I noticed while I was here was that while I was waiting for my food I listened to what other customers were ordering and time and time again they said they were out of this or that. Which made me wonder if they had simply sold out(which is a good sign) or their kitchen manager needs to reevaluate his orders. Either way What I ordered was great and i’d come back. Also, This is a strictly take out spot in a little strip mall

After two visits, I’m ready to weigh in. I’m a fan of the small business. This small carry out eatery is conveniently located in a strip mall on NW135th street. Unfortunate if you aren’t looking for it, you’ll miss it in this somewhat shabby strip mall. But usually it’s non-descrpt places like this that harbor the good eats! Upon entry a young man takes your otdet. On both occasions he has done so with nary a smile. In fact he seems absolutely bored.(After you place your order you’ll wait on a wooden bench, as this is strictly carry out). Nevertheless, he patiently went through the menu. I ordered the quarter pound of conch and the garlic crab, potatoes and corn. If you love garlic, then these crab legs will send you over the moon! The garlic and parsley are bathed in a sauce that I suspect is butter and other secret spices. But OMG!!! It’s the best I’ve ever had. The Conch Is tendr snd nicely seasoned which makes it an exclusive side dish or meal on its own. Now If YOU are balling on a budget, this is not your spot. This carry out meal was a smooth $ 25.15 with no drink or dessert. But if you want garlic crab, that are the best this side of glory… save your coins, stop in and look no further!
