History

Established in 1986.

At 12 years old the owner was repairing boats, he also helped his father at the family paint store. His parents immigrated from Cuba when they were young and worked very hard to be able to offer their children a good life. As a child his parents instilled in him the importance of hard work and perseverance. By the time Luis graduated from High School, he had completely overhauled 4 boats and he was ready to move on to the next phase. His father helped him establish Concept Boats and in May of 1986, the business was incorporated in the state of Florida. The first Concept model was a 17′ Ski boat with a single engine. Today our repertoire includes 10 models ranging from 20′ to 44′. More than 25 years later he remains the sole proprietor of the business and he maintains the same work ethic that has gotten him to this point. Luis takes pride in his relationship with his employees, many of whom have been with him for over 10 year

Susan is described as operational energy behind Concept’s growth and success for the last 15 years. She drives the sales by making her goal bringing the happiest day of a boater’s life to fruition. She has endless patience and can be counted on to solve any problem.
