Sherwin Williams sells the best paint, I think. I use nothing but Sherwin Williams. Their employees will tell you how to paint. It’s preparation that is important is what they will tell you here. I always get their primers, especially oil base for outside bare wood which is what they recommend. Then, put on a final coat of satin or semi-gloss latex paint which is what they have taught me. They have lots of paint Accesories to do the hard job of painting like caulk, paint thinner, brushes, masking tape, roller covers, drop cloths, HD roller frames, other painting supplies to get the job done. They also have industrial oil base paint here for rougher floors outside and etc. Anyway, you ask Sherwin Williams and you can trust their advice here. I do recommend them. You can bring in a chip or sample of a color you need and they will match it by placing it on a machine that they have here. I don’t how it works, but it does a great job. Just Ask Sherwin Williams. Their customer service is excellent here about the best I’ve seen when needing paint.
