Total 1 Ac & Heating

tried to get a quote to install a mini split 12 000 btu in 1 room, the lady said for installation that’s about $ 4000-​$ 5000, are u kidding me???

Thank You soooooo much Dan for coming out today and fixing my A/​C, called him and was able to come out in this 100 degree heat. Thank God it was only the motor to my old A/​C he had the part and fix it in one hour and this is why I won’t go with anybody else thank you!

Of course our AC had to fail us last week when it was in the high 90’s. I called another company and they were not taking new customers but left me the number to this amazing company. I’m so glad they did.
I knew the chance of getting someone out immediately was not gonna happen because I called several other companies and they couldn’t even give me an appointment.
I called and spoke with this sweet woman named Lynn. She scheduled my service for one week and she gave me the choice of the times slots she had available. I chose 4−6pm.
One week later, Dan shows up on time and in my requested time slot, He thoroughly explained everything he was checking. I’ve never felt so at ease having a «service man» here at the house when my husband isn’t home… What a great guy Dan is!
No more than an hour later my AC is working better than it ever has. He made sure everything was working, that the house was staying cool, and even gave me tips on how to make the AC work better.
Don’t be fooled by companies that only charge a «small fee» to come out and diagnose… You get what you pay for. What I paid for was great service, reliability, and someone that really knows what he’s doing!
I’m hoping that I don’t have to call them back for anything, but if I had to recommend AC service… I would most definitely recommend Total 1 AC & Heating!

Okay, I didn’t actually use this company because they were booked up (probably because they are a 5-​star, quality business) and I needed someone ASAP. BUT, I give them kudos for being quick to respond, professional, friendly, and for referring me to a reputable competitor. The competitor was able to come out within 2hours, was also friendly & professional, and fixed the problem with my AC quickly.
Excellent service when you care enough about people to help them resolve a problem even if you aren’t going to benefit financially. Thank you so much Lynn!!!

So not only do they do residential but they do large warehouses too. Great people to work with. Prices can’t be beat. They will defiantly be the ones we go to for now on.

I called for a tune up on my AC unit, and Dan did a whole lot more. A true professional, will definitely keep his number.

These guys came out short notice last Friday. I was impressed with their punctuality, knowledge, and the efficiency of their service. They identified my issue right away and communicated (i have very little knowledge /​understanding of ac’e etc) to me very simply what was going on with AC. They fixed it and it’s working great again! Very kind guys, professional too. Ben and Mario (?) were my service men. They have gained a loyal new customer as far as I am concerned. Thank You!

I can’t recommend these guys enough. On time and COMPLETELY HONEST!!! Mario did a great job, the lady on the phone was helpful. These guys are now my go to for heating and air. I can’t recommend any higher! CALL THEM if you have any problems, you will get a great deal and great service.

Dan, Debbie and company are great! I experienced great customer and professional service. My air conditioner stopped working completely and I called them and they were very helpful from beginning to end. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I had to have my blower replaced at the end of the summer. Total 1 fit me into their busy schedule during this heat spell the next day. Dan showed up saw my unit and said, «start saving!» Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but he was right. My unit is approaching 40 years old and has been doing the best to its ability. He fixed the blower in a few minutes, and my AC was back to work.
Well, a little earlier than planned, I now need a new unit due to an electrical outlet malfunction that fried the unit. Fortunately, insurance company is replacing the unit for me. Unfortunately, they want to use their contractor. I called Dan to give me a quote hoping they would work with him instead. He even credited me for the money spent three months ago in the quote. Dan is a straight shooter not looking to get over on you and offered flexibility in all the work related to the job (platform, drywall, etc.)
Lynn will answer the phone when you call and you will be treated professionally and with a family friendly tone. I’m sad to say I can’t use Total 1 for this job, but I will recommend them to anyone that asks.

Wow!!! Number 1… I get a return call. Believe me, that’s a biggie. Number 2… Showed up on time!!! Number 3… Knew exactly the problem once I explained & had my technician watch… Number 4… This whole a/​c, heating unit is the one originally installed 36 years ago. We talked about all its issues & quirks & yet the technician never tried to upsell, upgrade, tell me anything else was needed. Number 5… He was quick, efficient, friendly. Oh & number 6… The repair price was very reasonable. Thank you!!! Client for life!!!

Called the other day and was greeted by on obviously unhappy woman named lynn, she was Short and Rude and Proceeded to tell me it would be several days before anyone could come out. All this before i had even told her what my problem was, I didn’t get to talk to this Dan guy who everyone raved about on the reviews so I’m thinking they are fabricated. Business sense starts the second someone answers that phone, so the other 2 places I called were friendly and helpful and came out the next day as they said. I am gladly spending my thousands of dollars for a new AC/​furnace elsewhere and so should You. Days later I am still disappointed so that’s why I decided write this review. No Stars deserved.

I think that all the 5 Star reviews say it all. I’ve always been on guard with repair men since the day I called a plumber who wanted to charge $ 450 for a job that cost me $ 25 to fix, thanks to YouTube. Dan actually gave me instructions on how to fix my AC over the phone prior to our scheduled appointment and wouldn’t accept my offer to pay for his help. It kept me and my family cool for the night however had to call him back because as it turned out, there was something more serious going on.
It turned out that my circuit breakers needed replacing. He diagnosed the problem and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg to repair. I’ve recommended him to everyone of my employees. You can tell that Dan wants to earn your business by providing you with an honest service for an honest price. He’s on my short list of good and honest contractors and if you use him he’ll by on yours to.

Dan is the best. I had a breakdown on my unit and they came within 2 hours on a Saturday to fix it. Reasonable prices great service.

DANNNNNN IS THE MAN!!! so fast and reliable. I found him on Unilocal and called him and he picked up even though it’s 7pm. I was lucky since he was in the area working on another house and said he would drop by after he was done. THANK GOODNESS. I was so desperate for ac that I waited outside when he called me and told me he was only a mile away. After my initial call, he arrived at my house at 7:30. My ac was working but not blowing cold air. He fixed it in a snapped! literally 15 minutes later. He was so friendly and I ask a lot of questions cause I was curious and like knowing what happened. I was probably annoying but he smiled and answered all my questions. I imagined a pretty large bill, but it was a fraction of what I thought it would be. THANK YOU DANNN FROM SAVING ME FROM THE ONTARIO HEAT! :)

I am glad I called this great company. Dan and Bez (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) are true professionals.
My AC unit wasn’t cooling the house down like usual on Saturday and I thought it needed to be recharged. I called and made an appointment because of the reviews on Unilocal.
Dan and Bez are honest, professional and take the time to teach you how the AC works. Who knew that big box outside doesn’t actually cool the air going into the house? Lol. They took the time going over the issues my AC has and they told me I didn’t need to recharge the system.
I complained about the previous owner’s routing of AC to the garage (long story). Well, without me asking they capped the ducting going to the garage because it «bugged» them too. This took a few minutes and it’s something you would expect to pay for, but they did it for free! This improved my airflow by like 20%! I didn’t think the house could feel this cool!
There are so much more things that they told me, but I’m going to bed. I’m calling them next time my AC needs servicing, not because they gave me a gift, but because I trust them.

The Best. I really want to thank Dan and Lynn at Total 1 AC & heating for their service. It was a hot summer day and the AC stopped working. I was expecting a major issue but Dan showed up on time and told me it was just the capacitor that needs replacing. He even replaced some of the old worn out fuses without charge. Such honesty, reliability and professionalism is hard to find now a days. I strongly recommend their service.

Our AC stopped blowing cold air one hot day, with 2 babies in the house we needed repairs done fast… we called Total 1 AC & Heating after reading reviews on Unilocal,Dan came out the very next day on the scheduled time, I was so pleased at how responsive they were. When Dan came out he was very professional and courteous., He quickly diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it the same day… he was very honest and I will definitely recommend Total 1 AC&Heating to everyone who needs an honest person to provide excellent service fast.
