This place is so disgusting! The food is soo nasty and old. Their drinks are so nasty and flat. This place needs to get closed down so disappointed smh…

Just had Tom’s chile cheese fries for the first time, let me just say they were great!!! The chile was very tasty & it was loaded with cheese… New to the area so I’m glad I found a great spot to grub… Angelo & Tony were extremely nice & generous… I’ve had their burgers as well and can’t wait to try what on the rest of the menu. oh and they lady at the window was very nice too!

Pretty good food can’t complain. but service takes to long. I ordered a club sandwich and it took like 35 min just to get it. Other then that the food is pretty good.

My main problem is the pricing.
I had ordered a small salad. It was priced at 7.99 (or something close). At this price I assumed the small would still be a large portion. I received a small container of lettuce and grilled chicken and was charged a total of $ 8.35. I received no dressing and if it was put on the salad before hand it i could barley taste it over the acid of the pickles placed in my Iphone sized to go container. Overall chicken was decently seasoned so there’s an extra star for that. Quite upset i spent 15 minutes of my lunch and almost ten dollars on something that cost them no more than 3 dollars to make.

This place fu**ing sucks. If you’re in the drive thru prepare to wait like 1 hour tops. Seriously, its crazy as hell. I can’t even fathom. I’m literally writing this as I’m waiting for 5 small tacos. I also asked them how much longer and they didnt even respond to me. They also charge you a dollar for atm without telling you.

I waited for 25 minutes for 2 tostadas and two sopes. When I asked the cashier the status of my order she had no clue, then she discovered that the food wasn’t even being worked on. It’s been 34 minutes and I can tell you that this is the FIRST and LAST time I’ll visit this place. It’s dirty and needs to be cleaned. Horrible place to eat at

Thank you so much Jimmy for the follow up. Me and my son came back for lunch and Alex assisted us very well. The staff are much friendly and the whole restaurant is tidy and clean. We came back a couple of times after that, my son loves your food. Thanks again!

Thought a co-​worker and I would try this place since it’s close to work… Boy was that a HUGE mistake! The ladies at the register were rude. Totally got my co-​workers order wrong and then charged an extra .25 to use the debit card. I have never seen a restaurant with RC for their soda. (EL CHEAPO) Come on people. It’s Coke or Pepsi WTF??? They have so many items on their menu but are supposedly known for their chiliburgers… Yeah, well they need to concentrate on the taste of that chili because it tasted more like mole than chili, yuck… We will NEVER, EVER go there again! This place is a joke, please people, do not waste your money or time going here!!! You will be VERY disappointed. If I could I wouldn’t give them any stars but I didn’t have that option! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!!

Came in for breakfast… eggs over easy, bacon potatoes and toast. It was cooked perfectly. I usually go through the drive thru and get the value breakfast sandwich which is very good but I wanted something different today and I was not disappointed!

The breakfast here is pretty good the only thing I didn’t like today is I made a phone call order they told me that it will be ready in 15 minutes I gave him 20 minutes I come to the drive thru and I still have to wait another 15 minutes don’t like that kind of service I expect my food to be ready if I’m ready to pay on time

This place is horrible flies around our drinks and food soda tasted so sweet like if it was old, the place inside needs to be cleaner, and the staff are not friendly (unhappy to work there). The AC was not working at the time it was sooooo hot inside this place and no ventilation at all. I sure will never ever come back to this place.

Foods ok. just as good as any other greasy spoon. The lady was rude to me tho and then the kid behind me she was like «hi mijo». Treated me like a jerk because i didn’t speak spanish to her. Bad customer service. Oh ya it’s a «B» rating too.

¿Necesita Espanglés?
Well, A few weeks ago, I went to Tommie’s in Bakersfield, which was supposedly a rip-​off of Tommy’s, and then, Tom’s showed up also, not necessarily as a rip-​off but a similar burger place.
This one is a bit different since it has a comprehensive Mexican menu.
The look of the place isn’t great. It looks somewhat dated and the blue and gray of the booths clashes with the Mexican colors, but you’re there for the food, not the décor.
There are so many items on the menu, I really had a difficult time choosing. I ended up ordering a cheeseburger, fish taco, and a small drink. It was not an outrageous total at $ 8.94.
My only real problem was the Spanish/​Espanglés. It feels like I’ve done it 1000 times in Florida and California and elsewhere, but this time, we didn’t quite meet in the middle. I don’t know what happened but it was a bit more drawn out than usual. Maybe, I’m just extra lucky. We talked over the ingredients of the burger for too long, and I still had no idea except for lettuce, tomato, and onion. I asked for no mayonesa/​mayonnaise but I didn’t really get a clear answer.
I was surprised to see any place offering RC Cola. I haven’t seen that since Florida. The tried the iced tea and got water… or very thin iced tea. The lemonade worked in spurts. I’m glad that I’m not wearing any now.
Another woman brought my burger after a while. For $ 3.50, the burger was huge. They by default put a special sauce on it – Thousand Island Dressing/​Tartar Sauce with ketchup/​whatever. Yuck. Still, the burger was good.
In a little while, the original woman behind the counter brought the fish taco and jokingly said «fish taco… de pescado». Whatever.
The fish taco didn’t seem to have any flavor. Usually fish has some flavor, good or bad, but nothing. It had some white sauce on it, and they used lettuce instead of cabbage.
It’s not a bad place and they were reasonably friendly but I would only eat there again if I couldn’t find a better place.

Thought I’d give this place a second chance n nope still same rude female employee cashier
So rude like I understand u hate your job so do I suck it up and put up with it or quit easy as that

I love their chili cheese bugers and it done right with a mustard bun grilled onions with chili on top and bottom and they have a nice salsa bar with this bomb avocado/​tomotio salsa and Chili Thursdays are the best with large chili cheese fries for only $ 3.55 and they’re hooked up

Service is bad, food prices are over priced, restaurant was dirty, and restroom was dirty.
Never again will l go to this place.

Poor guy, He did not look at all of my reviews. Tom’s just happens to be a bad place to eat. There are several negative reviews here in Unilocal.My review is just one more being added to the list.

Will not be visiting this place ever again. Had much the same experience as many others that have posted here. We ordered two different burritos, they were disgusting to say the least. Greasy and way over priced. We did not receive an itemized receipt and waited for over 20 minutes in the drive through. Even the drinks were absolutely horrible.

Food was average. Chili burger may be world famous but world famous doesn’t always mean really good. The place could use a little more cleaning and remodeling but we never really expected much to begin with.
My girlfriend ordered the Sopas and ended up throwing up about 30 minutes after we left the restaurant. I have no idea if the two were related.
