Completely unreliable! It’s been more than six months and I still have an incomplete work product. There is always an excuse. More than SIX MONTHS. Please stop doing business if you can’t run one like a professional. I think I’m going to the BBB next. Do yourself a favor and don’t hire this guy.

Jorge started out good with us, but as time went on he never finished our job, excuse after excuse. With the way he treated us in our remodeling of our kitchen, I have a hard time believing these other reviews are for real. He took my money cashed my check and has still not finished the job! He started the job back inJune of 2014. Did part of the job and when he came back to finish other part of our kitchen he did a sloppy job. He promised he guaranteed his work and as of today 10/​26/​2015 he still has not come back to fix the sloppy work and non-​quality of work he did. I have stain peeling off some of my cabinets, didn’t use enough or not quality stain. I have send numerous phone calls and text, he says he will come, but won’t set an exact time or day. Still owes me quite a bit of money because he did not finish job. Says he will give it back, well as u can read when he started my Job and as of today 10/​26/​2015 he still has not brought me back my money he owes me. So I do not recommend Jorge, because he does not keep his word and always has an excuse why he hasn’t been able to complete job. Very dissatisfied with Jorge. I would never recommend him to anyone!!!

Jorge did a great job on our kitchen, very pleased! He went out of his way to meet a crazy schedule. Highly recommend, did a great job of limiting dust and keeping it clean.

Jorge is fantastic. His company transformed our old and tired kitchen and staircase into something we are now very proud of. We showed a neighbor and he will be calling soon for his staircase remodel.

Jorge (George) Rodrigues and his uncle just finished our staircase, and they did an AWESOME job. We’d been procrastinating on finishing our Maple Staircase for a while, simply because we were apprehensive about the whole process, and the fact that we’d just had our interior house painted only a month before.
It was vital for us to find the right Wood Refinishing/​Painting Contractor, and even more imperative, the business owner, who we could trust to do a great job.
We did get a few bids – George’s bid was not the lowest, but when it comes to your home, the lowest bid doesn’t always win. You get what you pay for, and we certainly did! The quality of his work really speaks for itself.
Not only is George very professional, but my husband and I found him to be very personable. He promptly came out to meet us and discuss the project, and we signed the contract at that meeting.
We wanted to refinish our all maple staircase, and go with a dark espresso handrail with white spindles. George explained the process, and accommodated our wish for a semi-​gloss handrail, and matched the white lacquer color for the spindles to the rest of the trim in our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Both George and his Uncle worked hard throughout the day.
From the commencement of the job to the last very detail, George and his Uncle did an excellent job on the initial covering preparation, which is the most important aspect when it comes to any painting/​refinishing. They moved our furniture, taped and covered everything with great attention to detail, took extra precautions to keep the premises clean and tidy – no spills or mess, being careful with our belongings. They were very respectful, friendly and helpful throughout the process.
We were very comfortable having them in our home. Quality companies are so rare that when one finds a good one, they deserve a 5 STAR+ review.
My husband found Rodriguez Custom Finishing Ad in one of our local Home Improvement Magazines, and I’m glad he did. We would highly recommend George and his Uncle to family and friends or anyone looking for any wood-​working projects, and would certainly use them in the future.

Jorge did a great job refinishing our outdated cabinets. Now they look like brand new ones. Very professional and reliable. We would highly recommend him.
