Nice food. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean place. Tasty shakes and boba. Would come here again. Need to try a few more times to give 5 stars. But definitely a place worth trying!

Best I have had in the IE. Savory broth and plenty of meat. Short and sweet, there are Phở places and then there is Phở Island.

2 stars is for great food. But service is BAD! Especially from the older short guy, he is extremely rude. We’ve been coming to this place for years but I might stop coming here unless this guy stops working here. He always seems to be in a bad mood! He is very rude and unprofessional. If it weren’t for his bad service it’d give it a 5.

Foods good but man this guy is just rude. They’re having a feast with all the people that works here. He stands up and comes to take my order he was annoyed for some reason and it seemed like he was in a hurry. Anyway he takes my order does whatever and sat back on their table and ate. I mean I understand they’re all eating together is fine what gets to me is how he acted when he was taking my order. We come here alot the guy that was rude is better today.

The best phõ I’ve had in a long time. Fast and friendly service. The seafood soup and shrimp fried rice are also amazing.

Love the Phở. Nice place, friendly and fast. As stated by others the portions are generous. Had the seafood phở with shrimp spring rolls, too much for one person. Reasonable prices.

I’ve been coming to this place for years. If it’s your first time I would highly recommend the A1 appetizer sampler, it’s great!(portion is big, good for 3 — 4 people to share) My review is mainly based on their phở. their other stuff are pretty good too but I have had better. Their phở, however, is very satisfying… huge portion, HOT soup(I hate to eat phở with warm soup), noddles are not soggy, and best of all — TONS of meat! All for a very reasonable price.

My girlfriend and I decided to have a night in, so we picked up two bowls to go(1 brisket, 1 vegetarian). The food was very good and we were ecstatic about finding a new phö joint, until about a quarter way through we found a worm on her spoon. Yes, you read correctly. A worm. Safe to say, we won’t be returning.

Not many good Phở restaurants around this area but let me tell you that Phở Island will not disappoint. The ingredients and food are always fresh. Their P11(Rare Steak) Phở is amazing and they even offer to cook the steak in hot broth before they serve it so that you ensure all the meat is cooked throughly. Lastly, their staff is very efficient and courteous. Must try!

This place was phở-nomenal! …see what I did there? Okay, enough about my lame puns and onto the PHO! Upon arrival myself and friends were greeted with smiles and seated immediately. Off to a good start. We were asked if this was our first time and it was. The server made some recommendations(which is awesome because I figured they’d seat us, leave and wait for us to be ready). So far, so good. We(all 3 of us) ordered P15(shrimp phở) which was so delicious. The broth was flavorful and generous amounts of noodles and shrimp. SCORE! we all got the large bowls and boy, were they large. It was too much for me, I’ll opt for a small next time because I’m sure that’s plenty. We also got some egg rolls which were also good. But, anything deep fried can be good… OH, and fresh lemonade was refreshing, crisp, sweet, cold and tastyyyyy. It’s no fountain lemonade that’s for sure. Do not be fooled. GETTHELEMONADE!!! Overall, the service and phood ;) were great. My attempts to be phunny, not so great. Will definitely be coming back.

I come here at least once a week since I live down the street. The service is always really good and the food is probably the best phở I’ve had in the IE and most places in North orange county. Normal order: Large number 10: phở with brisket and rare steak 2 banh mi sandwiches pork and chicken Egg rolls. $ 21 for 2 adults and a toddler to leave stuffed.

Phở Sho!!! This is my go to phở spot when I’m at home. I can’t tell you how many times I have been here. A large p11, spring rolls, and a Thai ice tea(no boba) always satisfies. I’ve tried several other of their many dishes from the pork sandwiches, to the pad thai, steak salad, vermicelli noodles w/shrimp…everything has been . But again nothing beats a big bowl of phở when it’s cold outside…

If you are in need of some good hot noodle soup; be sure to come to Phở Island. The Good: Staff is great and friendly. We are always served with a smile and we get what we ask for, and promptly. Water has no weird tap water taste and is nice and icy cold. Phở is always great… hot and meats are tender and thinly cut. Their portions are very generous and has the right amount of MSG…(not sure if that sounds good or not. Ha) The Bad: After coming here for almost 10 times, I haven’t seen anything bad… well, maybe an explanation as to how come their TV’s show the most random channels. One usually shows an indian channel, another TV will show some Korean Drama with Spanish subtitles(weirdest combination)… the third TV would show some sports channel… occasionally. Overall: It’s always great to come here for dinner, or even lunch… regardless of the weather outside. Phở Noodle always goes great. Try to remember to ask them to steam the bean sprouts… it tastes better like that.

I wouldn’t say that this place is phở-nomenal. but it was good nonetheless! :) We were seated for lunch right away and our server quickly grabbed our drinks. Both my colleague and I are Vietnamese, so we thought it’d be fun to just speak Viet while ordering. And yay! Just about all their staffs understands Vietnamese. :) We didn’t order Phở, but we both got rice plates. I got charbroiled chicken over rice while my colleague ordered grilled pork. I added an egg to mine, but for $ 1. was a bit too much in my book. For roughly $ 9, my lunch portion was huge. I had to take leftovers back for dinner. All of the staffs here look friendly and seem to be helping each other out. The place wasn’t too loud, so we enjoyed our lunch in peace. The location is quite close to the office for me, which is near the Ontario airport so it was nice not having to travel too far to enjoy familiar culture food.

Food: mediocre The Vietnamese sandwich wasn’t good. It was dry meat and bread, very little mayo and like no vegetables. The phở was weird. It was a bit bland. The«sprite» tasted like Shasta. ONE free refill. The service was pretty bad. It’s an older man who doesn’t speak much English taking orders and they’re not very attentive.

Service is always great here. Being a ABC/V(American born Chinese/Vietnamese), they don’t put me to shame when I try to place an order with my broken Vietnamese. Their spring rolls have definitely made major gains in my book. The last few times, the nem nuong was just a chunk wrapped up in the roll, but now it’s sliced to fit the roll. I also love the fact that they give small containers of sambal olek(chili w seeds sauce). The phở was really good as usual. They always pack bean sprouts, limes, basil, hoisin sauce, and utensils. Accepts mastercard/visa. Love this place!
