I love this place so much!!! I have never felt comfortable about taking my car to a shop until them!!! They are run by family and they treat their customers like family! My car has 260,000 miles on it and it is still running thanks to them!!! I would recommend anyone to go there!

I wanted to love this place, I really did. About a year and six months ago, I paid over $ 1000 for preventative repairs for my 2005 Chevy Aveo including the water pump and timing belt. A week later, my car broke down directly because they did a poor job and it caused my car to overheat. Long story short, my car was in and out of their shop about six different times and I decided to take it into another shop when Lupes recommended I shell out another $ 1200 for a valve job. I took it in to a different location and what do you know, all they did was CLEAN, not even replace, the spark plugs and my car was up and running again.
Today, I found out my car needs a head gasket repair. Mind you, I’ve driven this car less than 5,000 miles since it has been my second car.
I paid Lupes $ 1000 for preventative maintenance to MAKE SURE my Chevy won’t have head gasket failure in the future. Doing that gave me nothing but headache and now I am forced to spend more money to fix my car because they did a shitty job at it.
Unbelievable. Save your money and take your car to another dealership that will actually take care of you and your vehicle. I highly recommend Midas of West Covina!

I had a 05 Jetta that needed some front brake pads, called them up and talked to a guy named Eric on the phone was very nice and seemed very helpful. He told me that they were busy but to bring the car down anyway and they would squeeze me in. By the end of the day, I had my car back. and the job was very well done. Good service, very reasonable prices and honest mechanics. I would recommend this auto shop to anyone. Thanks!

I called this shop because a warning light came on in my car while I was driving on the 10 freeway. Since I was 50 miles away from home and 70 miles away from my destination, I decided to find a local mechanic to diagnose my car.
The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly and told me that I can bring my car by but, he was not able to make any promises. When I arrived, I saw that their shop was full of cars and I thought I was going to have to wait a couple hours or so just to hear that I had to tow my car home. This was not the case, thankfully.
They hooked my car up to their computer, diagnosed my car, and sent me on my way very quickly. The people who work at this shop are very professional and knowledgeable.

I have had my truck serviced there a coupele of times now and I have been absolutely pleased with the work. This auto center does it all, a complete workup is given to you everytime they service your vehicle. Not to mebtion the incredible customer service yyou receive everytime. I feel safe taking my truck to them and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you Lupe’s

If your looking for a complete auto repair shop, this is the spot. They do everything from oil change to changing motors. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I like that they explain what the problem is and give you their recommendations. Thats a plus, especially if you don’t know anything about cars. I recommend this place for all your car needs.

I would refer everyone I know to Lupes. Great honest intelligent auto service. Family’s been going to Lupes for as long as I could remember, no that I have a car of my own I trust him to do an outstanding job from oil changes to any fluid leaks he’s got u. THANKS TO EVERYBODY AT LUPES AUTO ! I WELL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Called & asked specificly if the do transmission work & they said yes. They had my car from Friday noon to Monday noon & still couldn’t diagnosis the issue because they don’t do the transmission they send it out! They did however try & find as much wrong with other aspects of the vehicle & over charged for parts. 3 days of rental car, over $ 300.00 in non transmission work I finally got the car back. Wouldn’t give 1 star but I had to in order to do this review.

After being ripped off time and time again I went to my buddy Eric at Lupe’s. These guys really take the necessary steps to find the root of the problem, instead of just replacing everything :\ like other shops! The bottom line is, I love their service, they are trustworthy and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a full-​service shop.

My family has been going to Lupe’s for at least 10 yrs. As a women I feel that its important to share my experience. Mechanics have a horrible reputation of being dishonest… well at Lupe’s it’s the complete opposite.
There has been a couple times that I diagnosed my own car problems, telling Lupe exactly what is wrong with my car and anticipating the worst… then Lupe says…“don’t worry its not a brake job and a wheel alignment… you just have too much air in your tires” and $ 35.00 later, my car was running perfect.
I would never trust my car with anyone else!

Ive experienced only 2 car repair places: the Ford Dealership by my place and Lupe’s. I bring my ’96 Ford Explorer here for all its maintenance needs (yes, I know. It’s time to get a new car, but at least its Eddie Bauer Edition haha). Alberto and Lupe provide good customer service and are polite and professional. I like that they take their time to show me the part that has the problem and explain what’s wrong and how it happens. I brought the car here a couple of weeks ago and they were able to replace the signal switch in just about an hour. Depending on what the issue is, service time can be lengthy. My advice is to bring your car early in the morning so they can work on it all day.
