Grill It! Teriyaki House

The food is good but they take extremely long to serve it. I called 15 minutes ahead of time got there 15 minutes later and it still took them over 10 minutes to give me my meal I was highly dissatisfied with this location service

Where can I start? I’ve been coming here since they opened and was not pleased but thought i’d give them a chance to improve since they were just starting up. On 10/​18/​2015 I ordered a chicken plate for 7.69 plus tax when it’s advertised at 7.19 and I was supposed to get a chicken bowl for. 99 for a promotion. The chicken bowl was charged at 1.49 plus tax. I was very disappointed at dishonest prices and my money was not refunded for the difference in the advertised price. The chicken, rice, and sauce was ok. The oranges that are a side on the plates are very dry. The restroom is always locked. I usually find half the fountain drink dispensers not working. Sad to say the female cashier had a dirty oversized mens shirt with bleach stains all over it which gives a bad impression. I have also been through the drive-​thru several times. Being the only person in the drive-​thru they took 10+ minutes each time to give me my order which was 1 chicken plate. Overall, If they make some adjustments in the Food, Menu, and Staff they might get my business back.

Inept and rude employees. Have gotten my order wrong more times then they get it right. Tastes better then flame broiler. But at least flame broiler get my order right.

Pulled up a 7:45, they locked their doors and closed up 45 minutes before closing time

After my experience today I will NEVER go back to this place even if I were dying of starvation. I went in with my family and ordered a half and half veggie bowl like I always do at waba grill and flame broiler, my sister ordered a steak bowl and both my parents ordered chicken bowls. We sat down not waiting very long to get our food (because the place was empty). We dug right in and the first thing I noticed was that they didn’t put any teriyaki sauce on it so I just got up and got it myself
I put the «steak» in my mouth and spit it right back out. It was chewy and gross and felt like I was macking on disgusting gum. I also noticed it had a funny taste and at that point I knew it tasted like lamb. My sister had agreed and my parents had to so I took the food back.
I asked the cashier (after standing there for 15 minutes assuming how short handed they were on staff) what meat they put in the bowl. She said steak and chicken. I then told her «this in no way tastes like steak, it tastes more like lamb», and with an attitude she says «well it is and it tastes differently because of the marination.“so I say to her. «Well it isn’t because this garbage u call «steak» tastes like lamb and how could something be marinated to taste exactly like lamb so u can give me and my family a refund or I can report u to the manager and ur out of a job so don’t give me a f***** attitude. Without saying a word she gave me a refund. We walked out of the establishment and at the side of the door I saw the letter «B» and at that point I was just about to throw up. Never come here it’s a waste of money and unfriendly faces as well as lies

This is probably the third and last time I’ll visit here, the meat is borderline… what I mean is, the beef has so many nerves and connective tissue, you’re almost choking, have to chew like a cow for a while to be able to swallow it.
The chicken was ho-​hum, once this stuff gets cold its really bad, ugh.

Who ever gives this place one star does not know what they are talking about
The customer service is excellent, very clean inside and food is phenomenal, you really do get the «bang for your buck» large portions of food, I got the steak plate and it was euphoric the quality is excellent, I recommend this place to anyone and everyone will definitely be doing business again ASAP

Pretty good quality food with good portions, My wife and I have been coming for a while.
Food is great, however, the build is pretty ghetto and it is located in a ghetto area. Restrooms are under lock and key which is always a sign of ghettoness!
I guess they don’t like crackheads cooking crack in their restrooms but it is really annoying to ask for a key for the restroom, you’re basically asking for permission to go to the bathroom…
If your looking for good, cheap, and fast rice bowls, your found it here, but if your looking to cook up some crack, you may need to go to another place…

Half Steak, Half Chicken bowl without Onions… boom :-)

Usually great place to eat but tonight I drove thru the drive-​thru and they served my chicken/​veggie place without teriyaki sauce and not saying anything. Later I come home and not only is my place dry bc it’s only chicken and veggies… there was no side of teriyaki sauce in the bag. How does one eat chicken teriyaki WITHOUT teriyaki? I called them to complained and they said they didn’t have any packets made and no teriyaki sauce!!! Informing your customer would be nice!!! It’s like ordering a Big Mac from McD and when you get it there’s no meat inside!!! Next time inform your customers!!!

I ordered the Salmon Bowl and it was delicious! The salmon was grilled to perfection and they were generous with the teriyaki sauce and rice. I asked for extra onions and they were generous with that as well. I will definitely be frequenting this place. The only negative is that the bowl doesn’t come with veggies.

I’ve been going to this place since it opened. The chicken and steak are delicious. The prices are reasonable and the portions are great. The rice is always good and meats juicy. No complaints here.
The staff is very nice and will always work on getting your order right away. As a convenience you can place your order over the phone and they’ll have it ready within minutes. I’m happy to see that businesses appreciate and value phone orders lol unlike others.
Give this place a try. I think you’ll be happy. And remember, if you’re in a hurry call in your order.

The meat was drenched in Teriyaki!
Like I know it’s a teriyaki place but come one at least make the meat have some flavor.

I’m a big fan of Flame Broiler and Waba Grill and I thought that giving this place a try was a good idea. I had the half chicken and steak bowl and honestly I found it gross. I had a hard time trying to eat my food.
The steak was at least somewhat edible, however the chicken is another story.
I will not be going back.

This spots great. I love the chicken bowl with veggies. Damm nothing like it. Chicken is always fresh the veggies are always soft not half ways steamed like other places. Add some hot sauce with their house teriyaki man theirs nothing like it. I’m not a fan of white rice without and sauces but their rice is good I recommend it to anyone Purchase a plate on the menu and get the chicken or steak bowl for a dollar and it’s not a small bowl its the one that you purchase for the reg price Now that’s a deal

Mmmm soo good! Got the steak & shrimp plate, super yummy!!! Tastes better than waba grill & cost a lil less! Will def be going back! Also good customer service

I’ve been coming here since the first day they opened and I love their food it’s way more affordable than waba grill and flame broiler and taste the same… I got their special buy one plate and get a bowl for 99 cents. Great service and lots of parking space.
