Where to start!!!
First off, this isn’t about the performance of Steven Castillo (part owner) as he did nothing but promise me justice and passed the buck. Steven was extremely confident, knowledgeable and responsive. He made me feel secure and hopeful so I decided to have him work my case. Well I guess my case was minor for his expertise so after I signed the contract and put my deposit he turned me over to Nikki in which he assured me knew her stuff. So come court date, I show up with my attorney, in a black suit with paper work, a laptop and all my records ready to prove my case. The other party arrived in jeans, an oversized sweater, no purse, no witnesses, nothing! Not even a single piece of paper. While in mediation I asked Nikki, my attorney, on how to proceed (long story) she looked like a deer in headlights and said it was up to me. She wasn’t confident enough to take on a woman that had prior records, clearly looked like trash and obviously wasn’t prepared to give evidence. At that point I was helpless and because I am uneducated in the courts system and law, I settled. Nikki read my case, that I put together, the MORNING OF court and worst off, they are asking for a total of $ 2,500! For what now? Not a single piece of paper was processed on their behalf except for my credit card information!
They are a rip off! And I have to now see if I can take the charges to civil court.
So imagine that you hire an attorney, they are to scared to fight for you, want $$$$ for no work performed other than showing up for court and now have to take them to court.

It’s just not fair.

My wife and I recently contacted Castillo Harper, APC (CH) reference an old debt collections judgement we had lingering around from several years ago.
The debt collector attorney was very difficult when we attempted to settle alone. They continuously added attorney’s fees and interest to a seemingly low debt. Eventually the new balance was over double what was actually owed.

After a few days of negotiations, Bobby was able to get the debt down and save us about 60% of the total balance due.
We are extremely grateful to Castillo Harper, APC for representing us and putting the past behind. I wish I would have contacted them sooner. They truly deserve more than 5 stars.
