History

Established in 1979.

Our office moved to its present location on 231 Broad St in 1981.

Dr Barr originally trained as a Chemical Engineer. However, an automobile accident caused Dr Barr to spend many hours in the dental chair, as a patient. This experience established the importance of having healthy, attractive teeth to him, and Dr Barr switched fields.

Dr Barr graduated in 1978 with a degree in medical dentistry from Boston University. He obtained his general practice residency at the Albany VA Hospital, in Albany, NY. He became an Associate Fellow in Implant Dentistry in 1997, awarded by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry

Dr Barr is the Chairman of the Peer Review Committee for the Madison County Dental Society. He currently serves on the Madison County Board of Health. In the past he has reviewed articles for publication for the Journal of the American Dental Association.

Dr Barr has two children, and a wife he adores.
