I had a horrible all around exprerience. Beggining with the communication. The clinic had roughly 1 week notice of my dogs surgery. Due to my dog already having heart problems it complicated things a bit and we had to take him to kansas for them to look at his heart prior to surgery (since the doctor that does them at midwest only comes up from kansas once a month.). Even with that week notice I was not contacted until 2 days prior to surgery, I missed the call and a message was left, but there was no talking, it was just someone hanging up. I then got a call the next day (the day before surgery) letting me know that it was the second call and telling me that I needed to have blood work done prior to surgery. Next day when he’s taken in for surgery and at the time of drop off I am asked for $ 1800 for a deposit on the surgery. This is the first time anything about a deposit was mentioned to me, so I had to run to my bank and get money to take care of it. When I picked up my dog, I noticed a sore on his rear end and didn’t think anything of it, but once looked at by someone else it was determined it was a bad sore. possibly a burn mark. I was told that I would be contacted when he was ready to be picked up but I never received a call. I then called in around 4pm and was told he was ready and that they close at 5pm. My dog also started peeing on their floor when brought out to me and the technician said he had not been outside since 2 oclock. Based on horrible communication and and the sore that was left on my dog (which they basically denied, how they over looked a sore this big on an animal is beyond me) I would not recommend their services to anyone. I know I will need to take my dog in to have his heart examined again in the next few months and I will be driving to kansas to have it done before I take my dog back here.

On Saturday we had a Frenchie with a back injury. she needed to be seen because she would be paralyzed if she needed surgery and didn’t get it within hours. Well, the Dr (and I use that term loosely) on call wouldn’t come in because she was at a party. The dog had to be euthanized. I’m sure they do great work when they can find the time.

Absolute great decision. This is an Appointment only vet service center, but if you need an EKG, you get it here. Unless you like going down to K-​State, MWV is the next best thing. When it comes to our little ones, cost should not matter. Folks that do not want to pay for specialized services should not be allowed to have the companionship that those who will have no problem doing so. My little girl is a crazy and she needed some extra care. Dr. Thompson was so calm and cool in my time of need. I am going to have to come here many times because she might not be 100% and I know that I will get top notch service and care. So will my girl. I will get back with a more in-​depth review, but not much will change.
