Worst company ever! My business utilizes this company for ACH transactions and there are soooooo many problems and issues that we find ourselves calling the customer service line weekly. TSYS customer service is useless. Minimum wait time on hold is about 40 minutes then you get transferred from one person to another… with no resolution to your questions! I HATE this company and I can’t wait till our contract is up so that we can drop them like a bad habbit.

Three years ago I would have given TSys five stars, a year ago three stars, now they have descended to the bottom of the barrel. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Rates are good but they used to be better and they add on hidden fees for «services and insurance» and all kinds of «add-​on things that have nothing to do with credit cards. The latest two things have been the worst. First they signed us up for a «free trial» of Wombly. I promptly responded back that I didn’t want any of the Wombly reporting features and remove us from the free trial. Customer Service said I couldn’t discontinue the service until the free trial ended. It ended, I called, they confirmed by email and guess what? $ 25 a month on my bill for the next 6 months and I had to fight it each and every month.
Then they signed me up for «insurance» $ 29.95 a month, without my consent, but they said they had sent me an email and I didn’t respond. Turns out they sent it to an incorrect email and it took three months of fighting to get that taken care of.
They have gone from great to vile in under two years. Sad.

I have been a TSYS customer since July of 2012 and everything was fine until last Tuesday September 22
My terminal just stopped working. I called Technical support and spent about 2 hours on the phone with them trying to make it work. They could not fix it. I was put on hold and they hanged up on me. Office got busy issue was not resolved. TSYS never called me back. After that Me and my staff were spending at list from 2 to five hours a day trying to fix the problem, were asking for someone in management to call us back nothing happened. I was promised several times that a new terminal will be sent to us first thing tomorrow did not happened. I really got Upset I could not do anything their customer service does not care about their customers. Their management is not accessible and does not reply to your messages or emails. Finally, I got fed up with their incompetence and cancelled my account.
Strongly recommend not to use this company.

I cannot tell you how many clients have been mysteriously double charged. When I refund the client, through the application, I often find that the refund doesn’t actually process. A large percent of credit card transactions are declined at first attempt, but will be accepted after multiple swipes or manual enter. If a client leaves a gratuity, it may not appear in the transaction log for several hours, or at all. What a nightmare.

A nightmare. The ONLY way we could get any customer service was through the Better Business Bureau. We tried to open one account and they charged us for three, and then would not process any American Express. Nothing we did solved the problem. Everyone we contacted appeared to be a snarky Middle American slacker. The corporate culture is to pass the buck and see the customer as an adversary and inconvenience. It is pervasive within this organization. Thank goodness for the Better Business Bureau. Through their efforts, we got what we wanted and were able to exit without the penalty being assessed.

TERRIBLE AND INCOMPETENT!!! I have used the service for 2 years and have had nothing but trouble. On initial set-​up, they had to send me terminals 4 times before I received the right one! When ever the terminal went down, they were never able to fix the problem. This happened again last month, couldn’t fix the problem, so said they would over-​night a new terminal that would work. The next day, with the help of my Franchise Tech Support, I was able to get my old terminal working again. One week later I finally received the new terminal. I no longer needed it, so sent it back. Apparently, when they received my returned terminal they «accidentally» turned off my service!!! When I called them on a Friday to report the problem, they could provide no explanation and said they would not be able to turn my service back on until MONDAY! I had a big sale the next day and it was a disaster trying to process credit cards manually!!! Obviously I got a new service right away and cancelled TSYS. The other reviews are correct, try calling Customer Service or Tech Support and you on an ENDLESS HOLD!!! DON’T GET THIS SERVICE, THEY ARE TOTALLY SCREWED UP!!!

Suddenly, they decided to deactivate one of our mobile cc terminals without telling us, because it is no longer PCI compliant. Of course, they never told us that the device was no longer compliant and failed to mention that they were deactivating it. While they did call back (twice) in response to a ticket, based on their inability to communicate with us I would never recommend these guys to a colleague.

For more than 4 months now Kelly Okones at TSYS has lied to me over and over in one phone call after another that she would take care of a mistake involving less than $ 200. She does not return phone calls in a timely manner and when she does she promises to fix the problem but never does. Once I post this on social media I am sure the phone calls will be prompt and the promises will be made anew. Be careful. I would stay far away from them and the National Processing Company.

Wonderful service. I have had other companies before and TSYS has been the best provider for my business. Their sales people are quite knowledgeable and friendly. Their statements are easy to ready and I love my Sales Rep.

I would think twice about opening a account with TSYS. Bad business skills and customer service. I used them for 2 years to process credit cards. It took 6 months for them to actually close the account and fees were being charged to my checking account for a service that I cancelled. Hundreds of dollars were taken from my account after it had been closed. This too happened to 3 others that used the company. I use the square now and love it!!! I would not use this service!!!
