Full TSA Precheck Setvice open when I went through at 4:30 am on a Wednesday morning. Went Right through no wait. It was awesome!!!

The TSA Checkpoint A at Eppley Airfield. Interior: A very muted, industrial feel. A lot of greys, steel and machinery complimented by commercial carpeting. The lines of people(while usually not long) shuffling along like automatons placing their belongings in bins while being herded through metal detectors provides the feel of an Eastern Block country of yore. Staff: To continue with the Eastern Block motif, the staff is usually stoic and emotionless, in plain uniforms. They normally exude an uncaring demeanor, free of smiles or the presence of a soul. Overall: The goal of course is to keep their countrymen safe from harm(and possibly checking you out in there body scan or an inappropriate pat down), while participating in what appears to be a thankless job. Seriously…usually short wait times through the TSA at Eppley, and while not usually the friendliest folks, I haven’t encountered any staff that have been exceptionally rude.
