Took the family to Tanners on Sat night. I had chili dog and bowl of chili. The chili was steaming hot and good. The chili dog was cold. My wife’s Cobb salad was«okay» and the chicken was dry. Son in law’s and step son had the special«Surf and Turf» and both liked it well. Step daughter’s Rubin was very good. So dinner was s mixed bag.

Stopped in today saturday for a business meeting, the inside was clean and only observed a few people inside. The bar offers plenty of tvs but I didn’t really pay much attention as to what they were showing. I ordered a spicy bloody Mary that took a lil longer than normal to arrive at my table. When the waitress brought it over she sat a bottle of Tabasco sauce next to it, which I found odd as normally the bartender should not have any issue making a spicy bloody mary. Upon my fist sip I found the drink to not be up to par with a good bloody mary. I will give the bar another try another time and try a different mixed drink to see how that comes out before making a final decision if I will frequent the establishment or find a different bar to stop in.

Stopped in to pick up lunch to go the other day. I ordered the lunch special which was the open faced beef sandwich with mashed potatoes, gravy and vegetable. I also decided that I would try the chicken tortilla soup and cheesy garlic bread. Figured it would be good the next day for lunch. I didn’t call in my order ahead of time because I got there before the lunch crowd at 11:30. I ordered and waited at the bar for my order to come up. The bartender was nice enough, but I didn’t need to hear him complain to his co-worker that he forgot to clock in an hour earlier when he got there. He said it didn’t matter because for that hour because he’d only be paid $ 4 per hour, and he would rather have the tips which would amount to more. It made me feel like he was hinting that I should leave a good tip for a to-go order. Food came up fairly quick so headed back to my office. The roast beef sandwich was pretty good… although way too much meat and not enough bread. Wasn’t the best I’ve had but decent. I do however want to talk about the soup and cheesy garlic bread. You’ll see from the pictures that the«cheesy garlic bread» is actually just a piece of regular white bread that was buttered, heavily sprinkled with garlic SALT, toasted just enough to melt the cheese, and cut into 4 points. I actually giggled when I opened the box! The chicken tortilla soup was the standard salty very thick stuff other bars serve, but funny that I ordered and paid for a «bowl» and as you can see it appears they gave me a portion equal to a very small«cup». The soup was super salty as well, but again this is not homemade soup so they likely serve it as it comes to them. I tossed both. Not sure I’d go back… wouldn’t be against it if I was meeting someone there, but certainly not food I’d crave.

I’ve only ever been here for taco Tuesday. $ 3 Mexican beers and margaritas and $ 1 tacos. Really yummy, crispy tacos.

Needs better wine selection. Food is fine. Full of TV’s. So great when watching any sport. TV in every direction. Not a bad seat in the house. The service is consistently mediocre. Rarely good service–

This is the only Tanners that I can say I really like. The staff is attentive, courteous and prompt which I have not experienced in the other Tanners locations. The food is your average bar food but always fresh and cooked spot on. It is a comfortable place to meet up with friends or watch a game on the many TV’s. The only drawback is that it appears to be a great meeting place as well for little league and kids soccer teams.

Tanners has a great casual atmosphere. They have big round dinner tables like you’d find in any kitchen in America. It really gives it a homey, comfortable vibe. Plenty of tvs to catch whatever sporting endeavor suits your fancy, but not too loud if you’re not so much into sports. Food is typical pub food with a bit more variety. Our table tried a few things: chicken lips(their version of chicken strips) were decent but not anything outstanding. Fries were good and hot, in a crinkle shape very much like Runza fries. Teriyaki wings were also pretty good, and they actually do have spinach in their salads(not just iceberg). This is by no means fine dining food, or even outstanding pub food, but it is decent. I wouldn’t necessarily go back for the food, but if I need a good clean family place to watch a game, I’ll go to Tanner’s.

I cannot stand this place but for some reason my BF likes going there. More then likely because they burgers are 5 – 6 bucks on Wednesdays. Honestly I don’t see it, The burgers are flavorless and they sure don’t look like they are hand pressed or anything. I personally think they suck. No kids menu from what I can remember which is odd considering there is always an army of children running around the place. The service fairly sucks, don’t even bother wanting your drink refilled. No matter when we go are where we sit, they don’t seem to want to come back and do it. I always have the«take me out of my misery«attitude when we go there. Even my 6 year old son seems to hate the place, you would think ordering a pile of pre frozen tater totes would satisfy a child but nope, he wont touch them.

Food was good but management is horrible. Refused to substitute a salad for the fried choices given as sides even though they cross contaminate the fryers with shrimp which means any one with a shellfish allergy cannot eat 50% or more of the food there. Cannot believe that ownership believes a 1.59 salad is more important than customers but I guess it is. Will not be back.

Great bar food, friendly service, & fun atmosphere. The charred wings and chicken lips are my favorite! It doesn’t hurt that they have great cheese balls and tater tots to pair them up with!
