We give cooking classes in our store at least two times a month.

My love of cooking and spices came naturally from a grandmother and mother who both loved to cook. After a career in music, I accepted the position of store manager for a rival spice store in Omaha. After 5 years there, my husband and I decided to open our own spice store. We both love teaching others and being taught by customers as well!

I enjoyed my experience at Savory, it reminded me of Penzy’s. The have a wide variety of spices and I was pleased to be able to buy my hard-​to-​find spices (i.e. Galangal, Thai bird chilies) and I like how they’re organized by need (baking, sweet, bbq, etc). It’s easy to shop and browse. I also received excellent customer service. The assistant manager welcomed me into the store and upon discovering that it was my first time, she gave me a quick overview of the shop. The staff are very knowledgeable about cooking and spices. This is a great place for foodies and novices alike.

This place is wonderful. The customer service is over the top! I love this place. They even gave my fiancée and I a wedding gift without ever having seen us before. The quality of their products are unmatched anywhere else in Omaha and quite possibly the entire country.

What a GREAT little store for anyone who likes to cook with unique and hard to find spices. The selection wasn’t overwhelming but the store was filled with spices I have looked all over for and the variety within each category was terrific. There are individual spices from around the world, spice mixtures, rubs, and MANY extracts. There is also a «locals» section where we picked up a wonderful jalapeño raspberry jam that available for sell.
The staff was very friendly and helpful including making smaller containers of a couple of items I wanted.
NOW, the downside. I can tell already that I will spend entirely too much time and money there.

Loving this cute shop!
I went for the first time a week ago after hearing about it from a friend. I needed a creative gift for a friend and this was it! The owners are so helpful, knowledgable and great! They helped me make a custom gift box with 10 different spices that would fit my friend’s taste. They were also more than willing to go above and beyond when I asked them to bottle each spice in the 2 oz jar – filling each one and putting the labels on by hand!
I also grabbed a few smaller things for myself but will definitely be returning for more! Everything smells so delicious in there it makes me want to experiment with them all!
My friend loved their gift and I found a new favorite spot to spend money – win, win!

Great place for the home chef. The staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Great selection of herbs and spices, along with jellies, dip mixes, etc. Great part was you could taste test any item before buying it. I ended up with a couple Greek spice blends for burgers and fries. Prices are right on. They do have an easy to enroll loyalty program that has some nice bonuses (free jar of spices on your birthday, spend a $ 100 get $ 10). This place is a great find, give it a try.

Love this place. The staff is helpful. You can taste test anything… so in addition to the amazing aroma, you get to taste before you buy.
Lots of amazing salt-​free options. I could spend a lot of time in this place. I have not only shopped in the store, but have ordered online.
For spices, this is my go-​to shop.

Great place! A lot like Penzeys, but not a chain (and its cheaper). The owner is very, very friendly. This place has all kinds of spice combinations I’ve never even heard of. Go across the way to the balsamic and oil place after!
