Established in 2008.

Our business started in 2008 originally under the name BlackShirt Contracting LLC. We have decided to change the name so we were not only localizing ourselves to our hometown Omaha, Né. We have visions of grandeur as they say. We would like to expand to the National Level and can do so with a more Nationally recognizable name like Roof Brigade!

Business Owner

I started working for a roofing company at the age of 19, picking up shingles off the ground and throwing them into a dumpster for $ 8.00/hour. I then worked my way up onto the roof and learned the «ins and outs’ of the profession. I went on to install 100’s of 1000’s of roofs by hand, humping bundles and shingling the most complex of roofs.

After putting in «my time» with the blood sweat and tears becoming the site foreman for all of our jobs, I moved over into the sales end of it. I received all of my training in product knowledge and certifications from GAF, America’s largest and oldest shingle manufacturer. By 2001 I was so versed in the field that I was promoted to the General Manager of the Roofing Division. That entailed handling all of the insurance claims from the 2001 Mother’s Day Storm in Omaha and managing a sales force of 15 guys.

After maxing out my earning potential, I decided it was time to take my talents onto my own business venture. Roof Brigade was born.
