Description

History

Established in 2001.

In 1998 sixteen college kids thought it would be fun to watch the Minnesota Vikings pursue their quest for a Super Bowl trophy after having a 15 – 1 regular season and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

In order to get playoff tickets the kids had to agree to buy Vikings Season Tickets for the 1999 season. But all they had to pay for right away were the playoff tickets. Easy enough right? All was good until the bill came out for the 1999 Season Tickets. Most of the kids didn’t want the tickets and had no clue what to do.

Our owner studied the Vikings ticket resell market and estimated he could actually make a profit by taking over his buddies seats and reselling them. It worked. Our owner then bought and sold season tickets for his favorite sports teams. He also experimented with selling tickets to some of his favorite bands. What started as a fun little hobby slowly grew into a small business. In 2001 the owner started a website and Red Zone Tickets was formed!
