QuikTrip

When we are in town we end up coming to this location at least once. They have the new food options –pizza and pretzels but the bathrooms are disgusting. Ewe.
Usually busy — everyone loves QT!

The only reason why I go to. .. OR HAVE GONE TO this location, is because it is the closest to my house. (If you consider 39^th to 72^nd close). In any event, besides this location becoming a fast rising magnet for miscreants, robbers and murderers, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!
For the second time this year. .. probably in the last three or four months, I wrote a check for gas, I get the check back along with a receipt to sign, they keep a copy I keep a copy. Well in today’s episode I wake up, check my online bank statement to see what checks have come in, and low and behold the check from QT comes in, but instead of being for 31.85, it was submitted for 33.48. Now you can say, oh, it’s only a dollar and some change, but the reality is. .. AIN’T NOBODY GOT NO MONEY TO BE GIVING TO QUIK TRIP!!! YOU DON’T GET TO TAKE A TIP!!!
So I take out the check and the receipt, and unbeknownst to me, they did charge me 33.48 even though the check was for 31.85, which means they charged me for something I didn’t purchase. So on my way home from running errands and going to appointments, I stop by this location, showed the assistant manager my receipt, check and bank statement. So he goes to the computer to see what was purchased, after a few minutes he comes back over and says a hot dog was purchased with the gas, I told him I don’t eat hot dogs from Quik Trip, I only got gas. So he BEGRUDGINGLY opens up the register and hands me the dollar and change and starts to go back to other things. So. .. I says. .. So that’s it? No sorry for the inconvenience? Sorry for the error? This prick says, «Hey I gave you back the difference, I don’t know what else. .. » I could not even stir up the energy to cuss him out. I just turned around and walked out.
I HATE SH*TTY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

This is the QT you gas up at before you hop on I-​80 and head to Lincoln. The layout is the same as the others — tons of drinks and unhealthy hot snacks are available. Non-​QT branded stuff is expensive, but they do have a First National ATM, which is a bonus for me.
Remember the three Gs of QuikTrip: Gas up, get some fountain Gatorade and Get the eff out!

The service at this location was amazing! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, and the cashier said «thank you for your business, see you soon» when I left. They have the best donuts I have ever had WAY better than dunkin or krispee kremes. My favorite is the maple long john, it I gigantic, cheap, and perfectly flavored. They also have a great selection of warm snack foods like taquitos and hot dogs. This is on my way home from work, and I am affraid I have a new addiction in my life.
