Specialties

Since we opened for business in 1996, Pixels Photography has specialized in putting our customers first. We’ve gained hundreds of happy customers by listening to what they want — and then doing it. It’s really that simple. Weddings, high school seniors, corporate events, families, pets… we do it all and we do it with style. You’ll always look your best in a portrait by Pixels Photography.

History

Established in 1996.

Pixels Photography started as a full-service Omaha photography studio specializing in wedding photography, corporate and commercial photography, high school senior photography, family photography and pet photography. We were the first studio in Omaha to include negatives and digital images with our packages. This gave the client the rights to printing their own photographs as needed. We’ve evolved our studio to meet the demands and unlimited creative possibilities of the digital age, and to use the latest in digital equipment, cameras, lenses, lighting, and software. Our wedding albums are award-winning flat-spread albums that really dazzle. We work closely with some of the top corporations in the country to shoot their images as well as special events. High school seniors are a favorite genre of ours and we work closely with schools in the Omaha and Millard school districts. We treat our customers like family and love to be considered in their lifetime photography plans.

Meet the Business Owner

Jeff L.

Business Owner

Jeff Lonowski started Pixels Photography as Affordable Photography in 1996. As the studio grew into the digital age, the name was changed to Pixels Photography, but the pricing remained very affordable. Jeff went to Creighton Prep high school in Omaha and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for college. With degrees in Journalism, Psychology, English, and Biology, Jeff embarked on a career in Advertising as a copywriter/copy editor. He still works in that capacity at his other company, Mint Design Group, which offices in the historic downtown Benson area. Weddings were his first area of expertise as a photographer. At one point, Pixels was shooting around 40 weddings per year. Jeff now has scaled it back to no more than 2 per month, so he can devote more time to post-production and album design. Corporate and commercial photography has become a big part of Pixels’ portfolio, and Pixels has dozens of corporate clients. Jeff loves to spend time with animals and shoots many pet sessions!
