Nice food ! And a very good environment. Excellent service. Good place to visit. I love to eat biryani again and again at this place Best restaurant in Omaha.

Worst place to eat Indian food. We waited 40 minutes to get our food. They forgot our orders after reminding them 3 times. They then gave our order to someone else who asked for takeout. They brought us soda and water without any ice. They gave us 1 menu to look at for two people. Our chicken tikka masala and khorma was mostly bone and very little chicken. We noticed other parties also having to wait for a long time to get their food. Very horrible management as well. You have 4 people standing at the cashiers desk, and there is no one waiting tables or coming to refill your drinks. We will never eat here again. Don’t waste your money!

Delicious! My new favorite place for Indian food. The tandoori chicken was very moist and excellently flavored. Butter chicken was my favorite but a bit sweet for my friend. Garlic naan & palak paneer was wonderful as well. Very happy with the entire meal!

I had the KADAICHICKEN that has peppers and onions. I ordered the #5 level spice, which was perfect for me. My wife had #4 level and it might have been a tad too spicy for her. We also ordered a basket of cheese naan, which came w/our dinner. The chicken was fresh and peppers and onions perfect. The sauce was thick and creamy and very tasty and the right temp. Very nice atmosphere and waiter showed just enough attention. It is on par with Jaipur and is a little more intimate. I thought the water served with dinner could have had ice for myself. I always want more rice.

I am sad to report that the food here has suffered after the chef change. All dishes are so spicy they blow out your palate. They ask you for a spice level but it doesn’t matter whether you order a 2 or a 10, it’s just too much. The service has never been much to write home about, but I overlooked it because the food was so good. Looks like I’ll be on the search again for my new Indian restaurant go-to. :(

So came here for the lunch buffet. Let’s start with the food — it was an interesting mix of the usual North Indian lunch buffet food(chicken tikka masala, veggie korma, naan, etc) and some South Indian food(idli, dosa, Sambar). Overall, the food was okay — good to satisfy that Indian food craving, but nothing to write home about. If my review stopped here, I would have given a 3⁄5. However, let’s talk about their ability in replacing the buffet items. With an influx of a few new customers, the dishes started to dwindle. First went the dosa. No biggie, there’s naan which goes with everything. However, the thing that really made this a two star experience is the fact that they ran out of the gulab Jamun(1 of the sole 2 desserts) and the wait for it to reappear seemed never-ending. And it wasn’t just us. There were tables of customers literally just sitting around for this tasty treat. After a little wait and some awkward proclamations from the sole worker that«it’ll be two minutes», they finally arrived! Once they got there, these little balls of sugary goodness actually made me raise this review back to its previous 3⁄5 glory. So I’m short, if you’re looking for some average Indian food with a little bit of both north and South Indian flavor, check this place out. But know that you might need to spend a little more time sitting around than at the usual buffet.

Average Indian food from a non-expert on the subject. Food was good, but not great. Decoration is odd, restaurant has little huts inside. I had the buffet and everything was good but nothing stood out particularly. The person I was with had to flag down the waiter several times.

Only Indian restaurant open on Monday nights. When they are open, they better serve food. We went in at 8:30, I guess the owner was taking our order. More than half of the items we asked for, weren’t available. He kept saying that they were closed on Tuesday and thats the reason they don’t have all menu items. They are a biryani point and they dint have biryani as well. He said they don’t expect anyone else to dine that night. Surprisingly 4 other tables had people after we came in. Their biryani is ok. Curry Express and Astoria have better biryanis. But Rotis and curries are a must try at this place.

Used a Living Social to order takeout from Paradise Biryani Pointe. Was not impressed, though it does have potential. Ordered a bread basket and Chicken Tikka. Both were $ 1 more in real life than the online menu indicated, which is a pet peeve of mine. The Naan was decent, though my wife was unhappy that a mint chutney sauce was not included. No reason they couldn’t have sent a small chutney container along. The Chicken Tikka was very nicely flavored, I thought. However, it was supposed to come with Basmati rice, and once I was home discovered there was no rice in our package. Perhaps I misread the menu and rice is only included with Chicken Tikka Masala, not Chicken Tikka, That’s splitting hairs, though. I did not call the restaurant to complain because what would they have done, give us a free rice going forward? My wife made it clear that she was not interested in a further dining experience there. Bottom line, the chicken was tasty. If presented with rice, mint chutney and an honest menu, could have been quite satisfying.

The host was very helpful and assisted me with making a choice. I’ve recently chose to cut our meats, but I’m new to vegetarian options. The dish I had was filled with vegetables and I got level 8⁄10 on the spicy level, which was perfectly peppered. However, I have to take away 2 stars because good naan is everything to me. I got the garlic naan for $ 2.49 and it was quite hard in the center. I flipped it over and sure enough it was well browned on the backside. I expected it to come fluffy throughout. They seasoned the top well, it just wasn’t prepared to my expectation. I would still highly recommend dining there. The décor was great and their buffet looks like a great option.

We ordered veggie samosas and found them to be very fresh, and the mint sauce was awesome. Then we had chicken Tikka Masala and chicken khorma. Both were wonderful and tasty. The service was friendly. We will come back!

We went on a Monday because depending on what website you go to some say they have buffet on Monday(they don’t). But we decided to eat there anyway. Only us and one other table. Another couple walked in and looked and left(I bet they were thinking there was a buffet too). The food was okay, nothing special and the prices were not cheaper for lunch. I wouldn’t go back(thatch inside a building makes me think creepy crawlies are living in there). But the buffet might be good.

Disappointing meal. I visited the restaurant on a cold winter night and was the only customer at the time. I ordered chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Asked for«medium» spice level, which they seemed to interpret as «not even a hint of spice», so the dish was very bland and lifeless. The chicken«cubes» also seemed rather chewy and tasted like they had just been plopped into the sauce right before the dish was brought out to me, rather than being simmered in the sauce. I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in the course of my business travels and rarely had a bad meal, but this is one I won’t return to.

I give this place 3 stars only because my husband’s dish was not enough food and way too much spice(chicken biriyani). However my food was amazing!(Saag paneer) We will try this spot again. As my dish was very yummy.

Try this one out. I’d driven by several times, but wasn’t sure about the food just because of the name. Well, just to clear it up– this place actually does have good food. The lunch buffet is really quite good, esp for Omaha. I liked the chana masala, among other things. Also, the papadum! It’s my favorite accompaniment, and isn’t standard with the buffets around here, BUT. They did make some, and it was actually proper papadum, perfectly done. Love love loved that.(The other Indian place I tried here had some weird rice cake type of papadum. Whaa?) I do wish some of the buffet dishes had a wee bit more spice, but I can understand they don’t want to be too off-putting to the yokels. Also, please, some rice variations! I also enjoyed the Indian music videos.
Hmm. Just writing this review is making me want to go back. ;) I know where I’m going for lunch tomorrow!

We tried Paradise Biryani Point because we had a groupon. I am happy that we didn’t pay full price because there were some flaws in the service and the spice level. We started with dosa as our appetizer. It was large and a good value but very spicy and filled with shredded cheddar cheese, which doesn’t seem very Indian. For my main entrée, I ordered chicken vindaloo at spice level 3. Maybe this is their scheme to get you to buy more beverages or a soothing sweet dessert, but my entrée was so spicy I could only take a few bites. My sister ordered another chicken dish and was very happy with her spice level. For drinks, my sister and I ordered ice water and chai. I drank copious amounts of water due to the spice level, and they did not refill. Also the ice was missing from the ice water. I realize that Indians do not drink beverages with ice, but they must be accommodating to customers in the USA. I’m not certain about refills on chai, but they didn’t even offer us another chai. They were out is the dessert we ordered so we settled on a rice milk dessert. Positive: nice presentation. The restaurant was full of Indian customers, so it must be authentic. A good choice for gluten free diets. Negative: spice level and service.

This place is cool, it’s quite strange as there is a disco ball and Hawaii type huts. The food is good, it’s a shame that they no longer have the platters available. I ordered some madras coffee, I didn’t like it that much though. They also sell really cool little bowls, but they don’t have price tags
