History

Established in 1981.

One Source began providing employment screening services in 1981 as part of a privately-​owned, Nebraska-​based investigative company, Jasa Investigations. Serving clients throughout the Midwest, Jasa Investigations was started by Douglas Jasa to provide secure and confidential information to high-​profile clients in all matters of corporate security, facilities security, risk assessment and employment screening. During 15 years of solid growth, the firm developed a reputation as a fast and accurate source of employment screening information. In the spring of 2004, One Source The Background Check Company was officially spun off from Jasa Investigations and established headquarters in its current location, Omaha, Nebraska.
