Specialties
People, bicycles, and coffee come together in Benson at the Omaha Bicycle Co. We proudly serve Intelligentsia coffee and loose leaf tea, and Sweet Magnolia’s baked goods.
Surly, Virtue, and Jamis bikes will be found on the floor and several other brands are available including Lynskey, Gunnar, Waterford, and Terry.
Our small, service based shop (only one fabulous moustachioed mechanic) will keep your wheels turning, from a basic tune up to a complete custom build. We specialize in wheel building, steel, cyclo-touring/rando, and internally geared hubs. Come geek out with us!
Enjoy our outdoor and indoor seating while you talk bikes and sip lattes.

History
Established in 2012.
We like Benson. And bikes. And coffee. So, on Halloween day, 2012, we opened the doors to a place which celebrates all of these things.
With 20+ years of bike shop experience between the two of us, we felt it was time to do things our own way and bring the joys of cycling to Benson! No, this isn’t your typical bike shop. No, this isn’t your typical coffee shop. With a focus on you, rather than bikes, we can dial in the perfect ride for your next adventure, whether it’s to the grocery store or across the country.
Cycling is our life, not just a hobby, not just a sport, not just recreation. It’s just what we do.
Meet the Business Owner
Sarah J.
Business Owner
Hi! I’m Sarah. I’ve been riding bikes for quite some time now and rather enjoy it. Showing folks (particularly ladies!) the power of the bicycle as transportation is one of my favorite things. As a year round commuter in Omaha, I certainly have enjoyed watching our city become more and more bike friendly; I do what I can to push that movement by my involvement in several different advocacy groups on our area. Ask me about it, but I’m warning you now, I talk. A lot.
I’m an Omaha native but lived in Grand Lake, CO for a handful of years and miss the mountains from time to time (really only for the mountain biking). Off road riding is my favorite aside from my daily commute.
I have a Golden Retriever, Copper, who visits the shop from time to time. She rides with me in her Burley Tail Wagon. I like camping, PBR, and chocolate chip cookies.
Ok, that’s it.
