For a local government facility, the Treasury office seemed to move quickly. The actual DMV, however, the lady with the long super curly hair is very rude. She was yelling at this elderly couple because they didn’t know how the line system worked. And every time someone had a question, she would ignore people. Typical for a DMV office. Not to mention the asshole who took my picture said I couldn’t retake and blamed it on the computer. Like I haven’t heard that one before.

I have been to this location on multiple occasions and have noticed certain perplexing patterns. First, they will never call the numbers in order. They will call numbers concerning drivers license renewal first, and then once they decide to, will start to call everyone else, regardless of who got their number first. I was around 30^th in line and I sat for 3 hours, while over 100 people were called, before they finally started calling the people who came for something besides renewal. On one occasion, there was so much animosity in the room against the DMV supervisor, who was very rude and hostile to people voicing complaints, I honestly believed the police were going to be called. On one occasion, I saw another employee actually cuss at someone voicing a complaint, in view of the supervisor, at which point the supervisor threatened the room, telling people to act maturely or they will be removed. The person who complained, was complaining about people being helped, who came in after him, and never so much as raised his voice. The people here are way to sensitive to the justified criticism they receive and refuse to respond nicely or professionally. If anything, they act more immature than the worst customers in the room. After going to this DMV three times, over several months, and I have seen no change to anything regarding how they address customers, or the out of order calling. This particular DMV is notorious in the area for being the most difficult in the city, and I HIGHLY recommend anyone going to a DMV in Omaha to go to another. I know DMV’s have a perceived reputation for being difficult, but this one is easily the worst one I have ever been to by a long shot.
