Booked this hotel extremely last minute because Priceline overbooked at a hotel up the street. They are pet friendly and super cheap, we just needed to stay for the night on our cross country trip. It suited our needs. It’s dingy looking from the outside and the key entry was broken so anyone could walk into the hotel. It smelled like chemicals which I guess isn’t bad — means they clean. Walking up to the room the place is super creepy, has a strange feel too it. The rooms are really big and open. Initially the room seemed creepy but it’s kind of retro/70s. It was very clean. There was a sign to «be sure to lock the deadbolt for your safety» which was sketchy. And after we locked the deadbolt we realized it was glued on and wouldn’t really hold up if someone kicked the door down. It’s right off I80, so convenient. I would stay here again if needed for the money and fact the dogs were welcome at no additional cost, but if I was alone I wouldn’t stay here.

Just so you know. Room 125 is haunted. My boyfriend felt it right when he walked in, but didn’t say anything. We both had trouble falling asleep and woke up several times with odd noises(not like footsteps of people walking upstairs) but the sounds of keys moving across the table abruptly in our own room. And I had dreams of gruesome murders which I never have. When we talked about it in the morning we both tripped out on each other’s experiences. Everything was nice in the daytime. Should probably get a priest or someone to remove the spirit.

This place online looked AWESOME! Got a great deal on Expedia. We got here, it’s full of crack heads, people are smoking pot out in the parking lot & in the rooms! The room was DISGUSTING! The linens were dirty, stained & gross. There was dirt in every corner of the room! Almost stepped on a razor blade that wasn’t picked up by cleaning!!! Luckily, my 2 year old didn’t find it! The pool was so dirty the water was dingy brown. Never again!!!

Do not stay here unless you have pets My partner and I were doing a cross-country move with 2 cats. Therefore, our options were limited. Before we entered the motel, we noticed the area was not too safe. It seemed as if many people who were not the motel guests came here to use the indoor pool. When we checked in, I asked the guy if he had any menus for any nearby restaurants, or if he knew any restaurants would deliver to our room. He just pointed to me a list of restaurants that was taped to the desk, and asked me to call them myself to find out. The room was recently renovated but it was not clean. There were hair still in the bathtub. Anyway I spent an hour surfing on the internet, and I finally found a place which would deliver to the motel for free(Brewburgers… oh boy the burger was SO good!). Anyway, throughout the night we could people yell or fight in the hallway. Yes, it was a bit scary. Next morning when I checked out, I saw, behind the counter, menus for a Chinese restaurant nearby. I know motel 6 is not a «hotel,» but the front desk guy could be a bit more helpful. After this stay, we decided to cancel our next Motel 6 stay and switched it to Red Roof Inn. Bottom line: If you do not have pets, do not stay here. Check on Expedia or Hotel Tonight for a better deal. The good thing about Motel 6 is that you can still cancel your reservation before 6pm the same day. I should mention that this motel provided free Wi-Fi, which was the only pro.

I really wish I had taken photos of the room I stayed in at this Motel 6. It was VERY modern and up to date, freshly painted and clean. No frills, yes. But that is expected. The room looked absolutely nothing like the reviewer posted in February 2014, but my stay was in May 2014. I booked this room online in a hurry because it was cheap and had an indoor pool available. When I read the reviews on other sites, they were almost all horrible and I nearly canceled the reservation but my husband and I are pretty low maintenance when it comes to motel rooms as we tend to sight-see and dine out and only spend 8 – 9 hours of sleep/shower time there, not multiple days or long periods of lounging or eating in the room. This place was fine, honestly. For the price I felt it was a decent value. As I mentioned, our room was no frills but clean and updated. It had a flat screen TV with HBO and very fast free WiFi. The bed was very firm, which suited us fine. The bath tub was large and new, which won points with me. We used the pool for a short time and it was clean although a bit disappointing because its highest depth is only 4 ft. The manager on duty was closing the pool at 11 although the sign clearly said midnight was closing time. Not a huge issue. The motel location is an industrial park but I would not describe it as «sketchy backstreets» personally. Not at all. It is near several plants with empty parking lots and within walking distance of several restaurants including Subway, a nice coffee shop, and Village Inn. I have stayed in far worse rooms for a lot more money in sketchy backstreets of larger cities. We did notice the clientele were a bit rough around the edges, mostly young, and it was noisier(cars coming and going) than I would prefer, but again this is one of the cheapest motel rooms in Omaha and I almost feel that four stars would be justified for Unilocal — but settled on three.
