Stopped in with my family after my husband and I arrived from Los Angeles last week. I ordered a skinny margarita and the waitress brought back a drink in a martini glass saying«Yeah…the bartender didn’t know what that was so he made this…» –as if that was acceptable! I didn’t want to be unreasonable, but asked for at least a glass of ice because a hot drink is disgusting and she brought one. So after spilling half the drink on the table bc it’s difficult to pour from a martini glass, I tasted the drink which was horrible. I flagged down the waitress and asked for a diet coke instead. I was taken aback that she didn’t ask if something was wrong, but it’s obvious she didn’t care. And the bartender walked around all cocked up like he thought he was too good for everything — when he doesn’t even know how to make a simple drink, or that a margarita should at least have ice? Simply flabbergasted at the attitudes of the staff who think they are too good to be working in a tired sports bar on the outskirts of Omaha, Nebraska. My husband also ordered a Blue Moon and was served some sort of strange lemon beer? Apparently pouring a beer is too complex as well. They definitely deserve their current sub-par rating.

If you happen to be staying at the Marriott, Holiday inn or live close to here look elsewhere for a place to and have a drink and eat. Not a good representation of what is possible in this great city. This place is headed down the same road as Applebee’s on 72nd& Sorensen. It was Closed down for a lack of addressing repeated problems over the years! Legends has wait, bartender and kitchen staff that is poorly trained, coached, or just has an over all lack of pride and food quality that will leave you wanting your money back. Or go give this place a try, roll the dice it’s your money, but remember you have been warned! The food is terrible often and this is coming from someone who tries a place at least 6 times over the course of years before leaving a review. If you do eat here I recommend ordering something that has to be dunked in a vat of hot oil to unsure any germs/bugs are killed upon cooking. Then be prepared to get your own silverware, condiments, and wait impossibly long for your food to come out. I’ll wait a year or two again before eating here to see if this company has learned anything from the common theme in these reviews. If things CHANGE then I will update this review. My recommendations in this area for a great meal and good quality service are Paloozas(another bar) just down the street on 123rd and military or Tusseys down interstate I-680 and 48th street, or Mangia In Irvington if you are in the mood for excellent Italian. Even Burger King on the opposite side of the interstate has better food and«wait staff».

It’s one of those places you can come with friends and talk, listen to music and have a few drinks. It’s a chill place and not a dive. They don’t have a huge selection of alcoholic drinks, but something for everyone I think. The food is good. they have yummy soft pretzels if you’re in the mood as well as grilled wings! It’s become one of our regular hangouts.

Been here at least 15 times and mixed reviews every time. The good: Beer is cold, Nice Big Screen in the«party room». Bad: Food is very average and a bit high for what you get. Corner TV’s in «Party Room» are the OLDBOX TVs and Must be on the same channel. Usually not a big deal but it is when the NCAA Mens Tournament is on and would like to watch more then 1 game. This establishment«MUST» invest the few hundred dollars to upgrade the tvs and be able to switch to different stations. Its always a crap shoot with the wait staff. Some are amazing and will do whatever it takes to please.(the way customer service should be) and others just don’t want to be there or help in any way. I will prob’s go back but prefer DJ’s dugout as they keep their place looking nice!

I’ve been here a few times now. Burgers are always good and their seasoned fries are awesome. Had the French dip the other day and wasn’t a fan. We always get the same server and she always seems rushed. Maybe they should get more servers.

Bartender Frankie ROCKS!!! He can take care of the bar like no one else. Waitresses, Kayla, Ashley, Annie and Stacia are the best! They will not let you down!

8 beers on tap. I have never had a bad experience here and have been here many times. 1 big screen in a separate room, but there are plenty of average size TVs around the main room.

Legends has a good environment. I had a burger with jalapeños on it which tasted good. The bun was big and not very soft. I also had onion rings which were soggy.

This place isn’t that good. It is a bit rub down, dirty in fact. Floor carpet is black, gross. Booths have ripped seats. I asked for a few lemons and went to squeeze then and they were slimy, like snot. I have never had this problem so I googled it– old old lemons! Takes more then a week– now I was grossed out. First night of World Series and a smallish crowd. Few hard drinkers got a bit raucous with foul language inside then out in smokers patio was much worse. Two little girls with me, not great. Service was solid– no complaints there. Food in general– was typical fried junk, nothing special. Little ones has corn dog and chicken tenders. We had a few other items and some wings and the wings are decent– not stand out but ok. I cannot get over the slimy lemons. Then I started looking around and the place is filthy. Kids were crawling under the table and found several pieces of him under it. It’s like a dirtier version of a TGIFridays– with less food choices.

Horrible horrible service. The beer tastes like beer, the bar and kitchen staff are ridiculous. How hard is it to watch a glass and see that it’s empty? #1 If you come here after 10pm the kitchen staff comes out to take control of the music in the bar no matter if you played your own on the juke box or not; they skip it and play whatever they want. #2 Should you sit at the bar and have to wait, wait, wait, then ask for a beer every time yours is empty? The bartender is so worried about doing shots that nothing else matters. #3 Give me a break. Service Industry? Act like it.

We go here every now and then and it’s usually pretty good. Tonight we sat down in one of the 4 empty booths and waited. 1 waitress walked by and didn’t say anything. We waited and waited. After about 15 to 20 minutes of sitting there and not being acknowledged we left. We weren’t the only ones. Poor service and hopefully they will turn it around.

Service was slow, but the waitress was nice. Food was only ok. Ordered a hamburger, and it came out dry with no flavor. Seemed like the juice was squeezed out of it. My wife’s burger was the same.

I go here fairly often as it’s close to my house. If it’s early I can take my family and it’s pretty laid back. Later at night it’s pretty much what you’d expect a a bar to be. I have never had anything bad off the menu. It’s pretty solid bar food. The beer selection is decent and service is usually good. Yesterday we went and had amazing service and half price appetizers for happy hour. Can’t ask for more than that. I think what sets Legends apart from most other places is the choice of seating. There is a party room, an outdoor patio, an indoor patio, and typical restaurant style booths and tables. Lots of room to work with. Be warned that smokers tend to stand right outside the front door so you have to walk through the stench to get in. If that kind of thing bothers you it’s something to be aware when you go.

I’ve been to this place a few different times. The first time I came in with a few of my friends. We had a variety of appetizers including the wings, nachos and sampler platter. All were very tasty, but my favorite was the wings. The next visit I had a combo pizza and a soft pretzel. Both again were very good. The place is very clean and had exceptional service both times. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

Decent pork tenderloin(not pounded) and good burger — — sat outside on nice patio. Chairs on patio are all rockers — — not good and fries fries were too salty but would stop again if staying next door

Legend’s may be the best sports bar in North Omaha. It’s definitely my go-to spot to watch a game. The burgers are good but not as good as Tanner’s which I would rate as the second best sports bar in this part of town. I’ve also had the nachos which are tasty but not nearly as large some other places. Most recently I tried the taco salad with salsa instead of dressing. The bowl was nice and crunchy and it had a good amount of beef. Legend’s beer selection isn’t great as they don’t have Blue Moon on tap and while they have Boulevard Wheat, they don’t have lemons. I enjoy the large patio when it’s nice out. Another bonus is that with enough people the party room can be rented for just a deposit.

We ate here twice during our recent business trip to Omaha. The first visit I tried the Classic Italian sandwich. A very tasty(and large) sandwich. My 2nd visit, I tried the Mac & Cheese. It was excellent with bacon and ham added to the mix. Plenty of tvs were available, so there was no chance to miss any game that was on.

In the mood for a bit of «bar food» on a hot Sunday afternoon dear husband and I headed to Legends. The food has always been consistent and we have always been a fan of their burgers. Cooked well but still juicy, the half-pounders come with a variety of «themed» fixings. On this day’s visit we stuck the the«Marylin Monroe» — a basic burger and American cheese. Getting our«grease fix» taken care of we also ordered the wings and fried mushrooms and shared the whole lot. The burger was good as always. Topped with lettuce, pickles, onion and our chosen cheese, served on a soft bun that has been buttered and toasted. The mild wings were good, but thought perhaps we should have ordered the hot. They even came with blue cheese dipping sauce. The mushrooms were good also — they were your basic«out of the bag» shrooms but sometimes that is what you crave … and that is what we thoroughly enjoyed. It all went so well together. The service however is not always consistent. On this visit they again seemed to be short handed. Drinks were hard to get refilled and it seemed unless you were seated at the bar, attention was hard to get from the apparent two or three that were working.

Still the same… a roomy place to sip a beer and grab some grub. The wings were actually very good and rendered properly. Get the hot… it is the right level of spice for most people. The potato nachos were a messy train wreck to eat… but tasty nonetheless! Local brew Lucky Bucket Lager on tap is a plus, but the IPA in the bottle is a fine, FINE beer. Enjoy! :)
