History

Established in 2014.

Gophermods started in the founders dorm room at the University of Minnesota Pioneer hall in 2009. After the dorm room, we outgrew the basement bedroom in the Como neighborhood and Gophermods opened up a commercial shop in the University Tech Center on campus. Our first technicians were all University of Minnesota students and we all ran back and forth from Dinkytown to class between repairs. The founder kept that up until graduating in 2011.

Gophermods currently employs seventeen technicians across our six locations. We service more than 25,000 devices per year with an emphasis in specializing in iPads, iPhones, MacBooks and other mobile technologies.

Meet the Manager

Cody B.

Manager

Cody began working full-​time at Gophermods in 2014. Cody shares an intense passion for our business to business side of the operations.

Cody is excellent in thinking about alternative ways to reinvent and rethink how repairs are performed. Faced with any given scenario, Cody can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues and offer a repair solution.

Helping spearhead our growth into new markets and the opening of branch locations in Nebraska, Cody is an expert in all Gophermods repairs, business operations and training.
