The independently owned and operated Vision Source Eye Care centers in Omaha offer comprehensive eye care for the entire family. As part of North Americas premier network of private practice optometrists, Omaha Vision Source offices are able to provide their patients eye health care utilizing the latest technology and progressive optometric procedures. And because each office is owned and operated by a doctor of optometry, your entire experience — from exam through fitting in glasses or contacts take place under the supervision of your family eye doctor.

History

Established in 1989.

Exclusively Eyecare was established by Dr. Steven Wolfe and his wife Maria Wolfe. Over the years we have changed locations, but we continue to be dedicated to providing the highest level of personalized eye care in Omaha. We were proud to continue the family tradition in 2008 when we were joined by Dr. Christopher Wolfe, the oldest son of Dr. Steve and Maria. We will continue our tradition of serving patients in Omaha and the surrounding communities for many years.

During his education, Dr. Wolfe received extensive training in all aspects of primary eyecare; including eye infections, cataracts, diabetic eyecare, specialty contact lenses and pediatrics. He completed a rotation at BVA in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he gained specialty training in minor surgical techniques, as well as therapeutic laser ocular surgery. Dr. Wolfe won the Golden Retinoscope Award, the Oklahoma College of Optometry’s highest distinction for clinical excellence. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Nebraska Optometric Association.

Dr. Wolfe has a passion for education. This year alone, he was invited to lecture at 13 of the 16 optometry schools across the country. He is also co-​founder of KMK Board Certification Review Services, a company specializing in preparing Doctors of Optometry to take the American Board of Optometry examination.
