We fix dog problems so that our clients can communicate what they want and don’t want from their dogs.
We use Dog Psychology, positive reinforcement and many of the same communication methods dogs use with one another. This is why after working with over 1,000 dogs, we have only needed more than one session for less than 10 clients.
If you are tired of rearranging your life to accommodate your dogs problems, give us a call or fill out the request a session form on doggone problems.net
History
Established in 1980.
I got my start in dog behavior through an unpleasant experience; I was attacked by a large breed dog when I was 7 years old and needed over 500 stitches and multiple reconstructive surgeries. Not the best start, right?
Well when I was 10, I ran across a dog on animal behavior and quickly jumped to the chapter on Canines. I finished reading that chapter in one sitting. Later that day I was at a friends house and a dog charged us. I applied some of what I had read hours earlier which caused the dog to stop and move away. My friend’s parents saw what happened and asked me to help with their dog.
After I solved their dog’s issues, they told a friend who I also helped. That friend told another friend, and on it went. I have rehabilitated over 1,000 dogs and only needed more than one session with a handful of clients.
Ive been featured on ABC News, write a weekly dog behavior column for the Omaha World Herald and post detailed write ups of my sessions on my website. Call me for more info.
Meet the Business Owner
David C.
Business Owner
I have been helping dog owners improve their relationships with their dogs using dog psychology and many of the same communication methods they use with one another. That’s why Im able to get such quick and dramatic results.
At this point I have helped over 1,000 dogs and have only needed a second session once.
I do not use harsh or physical methods like dominance theory as those are fear based. My goal is to help you communicate with your dog in a way it understands.
Its important to note that I am NOT a dog trainer, I’m a dog behaviorist.
I like to say dog trainers teach dogs to do things where a behaviorist teaches dogs to NOT do things (like barking, getting over excited, jumping up, running away, chewing, leash pulling, kennel training, fears, etc).
If you have any questions about my methods or philosophy, please visit my Facebook page or website where I post a photo and write up of each session.
Remember everything you do trains your dog, only sometimes you mean it.
