I have been here a couple times now. A very knowledgeable, friendly, professional barista has served me every time I have visited. I have had to wait to have my order taken a few times, but that is because this location is also a drive through. The coffee has been absolutely amazing each time. Im pretty sure they roast their own beans. Their Lattes are creative and tasty. Their regular coffee brews are really good as well. I really enjoy their snickerdoodle coffee. The location itself is alright for sitting down and enjoying your coffee with friends. Inside the building there are about 4 tables with chairs around them and 4 sofa/chairs in the corner. Outside the building there is a nice fenced off area with tables and chairs. All in all, it’s a nice place to sit and relax/study/have a coffee date if it is not busy. But if it is, the place is a little loud and uncomfortable.

The coffee(Americano) I ordered was pretty good. The big disappointment was the pastry. If this is truly a bakery, as evidenced by the activity in the back room; why was I served a day old pastry? I can see if it was clearly marked as OLD, but nope they reached into the glass case and pulled it out. Sorry, but this is not acceptable and I will not be back.

Deep in the bowels of this establishment lies a hidden gem… a blueberry muffin created by Odin himself! This bountiful treat is forged in house from the finest and freshest berries. You will think you are walking the fields of Elysium as you bite into a muffin that is far beyond our simple worldly pleasures. Tldr: Get the blueberry muffin.

I am so jealous of Omaha for having Crane coffee. This place rocks. My favorite is the blended crane special. You can get it «skinny», which I like. My friend and I were in Omaha shopping and we went here twice in 1 day. Not even mad about it. So good.

The Crane coffee location at 60th and Center Road had mediocre coffee at best. We drink only dark roast and mine is served black. It tasted like water. I then ordered 2 double shots of espresso to add to the coffee. I am quite certain I was given one single shot at the higher price for 2 doubles, but complaining got nowhere. Granted, the little but of espresso we shared helped the coffee flavor. Perhaps other Cranes in Omaha are great, but I would avoid this one.

We have tried all the coffee venues in Omaha and Crane makes a very tasty cup of Mocha. The hot chocolate was delicious say the three non-coffee lovers in our household. The blueberry muffins are fabulous and my hubby is a huge fan of the scones. While the location we go to is not easy to get to, it is worth the trip.

I used to meet a client at this coffee shop, on a weekly basis. Honestly, I don’t miss it. The location made it convenient, but there’s just absolutely nothing about it that makes me want to drive there. The coffee is okay, but nothing special. Seating is very limited and too crowded. All in all, mehh…

Odd and slightly inconvenient parking lot. Watery Chai. Too much whip. Blah. I used to come to this Crane location all the time when I was in college because my cousin worked there. He’s long gone and we’re both getting old now, but I work in the area so thought I’d swing through and grab a hot Chai. At least ¼ of my cup was whip and the rest was extremely watery. I couldn’t finish it. Pretty sure I’ll be turning left on Center to hit up Scooters instead of right into the odd Crane lot from now on. :(

I go to crane quite often and I will say this is my favorite crane location! I always order the cafreddo with no flavoring! It’s so delicious and perfect! The staff is always smiling and is very kind. I will say that getting in and out of the parking lot is always a hassle though. I wish that they could somehow make it easier but that location makes it impossible. It’s worth it :)

I’ve gone through the drive-thru here 3x now to grab a latte and have only been happy with my coffee once. If not for time constraints and the traffic on Center I would have turned around and asked for a refund. I swear that 2 of the 3 times I went here they filled half my cup up with water it was so weak and lacking in flavor.(How else could they make a Turtle latte, a drink with chocolate AND caramel sauce, taste bad?) I prefer to support local business but I’ll be going to the Scooters down the road from now on.

Service is absolutely the best! Coffee is wonderful. May be a little overpriced but excellent quality. Nice place to sit with a friend and have«coffee talk».

Love that they have a drive through! The lady was very sweet and friendly! I had a coupon for a free small drink and she then punched my reward card for getting it! I ordered a soy salty caramel dream which was super sweet but I still drank all of it! I can’t wait to come back to enjoy the inside next time!

Crane on 60th and Center is an all-around decent coffee shop. When you’re here, the friendly staff serves you your favorite caffeinated drink. There are also plenty of pastries for those looking to carb up. Plus, there’s even a drive through for those who manage to maneuver through the tricky little parking lot. While not a huge coffee shop by any means, this Crane location manages to feel spacious. Plus it’s generally clean and uncrowded(at least during the morning hours). While I’ve been here several times, it’s been purely because of convenience — i.e. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, rather I end up here for a meeting or it’s the closest spot to grab a coffee and work for an hour or two between other obligations. And the coffee, well, it tastes average in my book.

Espresso is average, not bitter but not very smooth — between Starbucks(worst) and Blueline(best in Omaha). Nice work or study space. Muffins have too much sugar frosting. Morning glory muffin does not need frosting and should use cream cheese base if you’re going to add frosting(not butter cream in extreme amounts). Also muffins have too much oil to the extent they fall apart when cutting and eating — can’t be very healthy(not that muffins are healthy in the first place).

I understand that Crane is now under new ownership, and that new ownership made one really poor decision. THEYGOTRIDOFTHEGRANITA! That delicious frozen drink made of real cane sugar, fresh shots of espresso, and honest-to-god liquid milk has been replaced with some blender drink. Whatever the new drink is tastes like it’s made with a powdered mix of some kind, and my personal peeve: ice(which makes it watery). Oh, delicious granita, I’ll miss you.

I love this coffee shop! I come here frequently to meet up with friends or study, and I have not had a bad experience yet! The staff is awesome – very friendly and down-to-earth, which I have found to not always be the case at some other coffee shops… I love their coffee drinks – never had their smoothies but i have heard good things about them from friends. They also give you a discount if you show your student ID. Its probably a little on the smaller side as far as coffee shops go, but that has never bothered/been a problem for me. If you haven’t been here yet, definitely check it out!

My wife and I lived in Omaha for 3 and a half years, within walking distance of this place, and I don’t think we will ever again find a place quite like it. The baristas actually know how to prepare drinks, the food and coffee is awesome, and the atmosphere is always warm and friendly. The staff is fantastic! We really miss living close to one of the greatest coffee shops in the world.
