Celebrate Being Elite In 2014 @ The Berry & Rye

I don’t typically go to bars very often, so The Berry & Rye hadn’t even been on my radar to check out. It was a really great time though.
The unique drinks were a lot of fun to try. Although, I’m with Sarah, that some more background and information would have been good.
We will definitely take some friends to Berry & Rye when they come visit, since they offer such a unique and creative array of drinks.
Will did a great job putting this together. The snacks from Kitchen Table were amazing and I know we will be heading there soon to check it out.
And last, but not least, the company was great. I had a lot of fun getting to know the other Elites and I’m looking forward to next time!

I had a great time last night at the elite event. It is going to be very hard to beat 2 free craft cocktails in the future events. The cheese dip from the Kitchen Table was amazing, and the bread was literally grilled… like on a grill, and it was delicious! My husband and I are definitely planning a future trip to try the rest of their food.
For cocktails, I went with the Hera & Aphrodite, The Night in Nicaragua, and the Trinidad Smoke. They were all extremely unique and unlike anything I had ever tried before. The Night in Nicaragua was comparable to a really strong margarita… which was incredible. The Hera and Aphrodite was a pear based vodka drink, it was delicious, but I completely over-​read the Absinthe part, and I hate licorice flavor. The Trinidad smoke was their most popular drink, so I felt like I had to try it. Let me say, I was not disappointed! It was infused with tobacco, and it was really, really good!
The atmosphere was great at the event, it was nice finally meeting some of the other Elite members in the area. We had great food, great drinks, and great conversation, what more could anyone ask for.

Loved the opportunity to try such unique and creative cocktails. Even my +1 who drinks alcohol maybe 5 times within a year was inspired to order two. It was fun watching everyone getting different things, and seeing all the showmanship that some of the drinks had… bottled smoke/​liquor that you pour over a round ball of ice, flaming up egg white topped beverages. I will definitely remember this.
I liked that this event was a smaller group than the last one, it was just the right amount of people I think to start to get to know people a little better. It took two drinks before my shyness faded away and I started saying «hello» to some elites I had not conversed with previously. Also I think 2 hours was great, for a Saturday night I didn’t have to rearrange my other weekend plans to enjoy attending this event.
The food from the Kitchen table was a nice little spread to munch down on while enjoying our drinks. I’ve been meaning to go there for a meal, but the whole «vegan» label has always made me put it off, never felt hardcore enough I guess to commit? Anyway, this small sampling was good enough for an excuse to actually go give it a try a little down the road.
Will good job, the shades were fun, and wonderful deals that you pulled together (everyone got 2 drinks, and after that $ 2 off from there, free bites from Kitchen Table)! I think the elite sign for a photo op was something fun for everyone to do!
Loved this event, all in all I wish I could hit «replay» next Saturday to try more amazing drinks, and meet more of the people I didn’t say hi too.

I thought I was ambitious enough starting my draft after the the event and before I finished dinner… but Lauren beat me to all the high notes!
I’d second all her sentiments. It was a great way to experience a new [old] haunt in a different way with some tasty bites and new + old Unilocal friends!
Would’ve enjoyed a bit more of some background information on the food and cocktails beyond the experience you’d have at a typical bar night, but it was still a very special Elite evening.
